Abstract: The Sweetpotato(I pomoea batatas lam,) meristem culture and plantlet regeneration were studied, using different explants, different sterile methods and different growth stages.The results showed that the sizes of explants is important for plantlet rations and virus free rations, expecially the season and the growth stage of materials. From January to April were feasible time to take the sweetpotato roots for accelerating germination, and the explants were more feasible for cristem culture. The rate of ecesis of cristem was more than 85% and variety plantlet ration could reach 86%.
