Abstract:

The antibacterial activity of submerged fermentation products and sclerotium of Phaeoporus obliquus were investigated and compared. The effective components of submerged fermentation products and sclerotium of Phaeoporus obliquus was extracted with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, butanol and water as the solvents resp. Perforated method was adopted to detect the antibacterial activity and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 10 extra fractions. The result showed that the extra of Phaeoporus obliquus had inhibition on aureus staphylococcus and bacillus subtilis and the ethyl acetate fractions fractions and butanol fractions showed evident antibacterial effect, but all of the water fractions had no antibacterial effect. The antibacterial activity of the extra of mycelium was similar to the extra of Sclerotium. The study provided theoretical foundation for developing submerged fermentation products of Phaeoporus obliquus.
