Abstract:

In order to further study the occurring characteristics and damage regularity, and develop effective control techniques of pink stem borer, the author gave an overview of the advances which had been achieved in pink stem borer during the last 50 years, including biology, ecology, feeding behavior, control measures, artificial rearing techniques, forecast, toxicology and resistant to insecticides, and put forward the directions of the further research on pink stem borer.
