Abstract:

The effects of temperature and light intensity on the test-tube seedling production of Musa ABB Pisang Awak were studied in order to solve the problems such as low proliferation efficiency and low seedling quality. The results showed that temperature had significant effects on bud proliferation. The bud proliferation rate was the highest and the bud length was longest, fresh weight was the biggest; the grade of browning was the lowest at 32℃ constant temperature. Bud proliferation rate was significantly increased, browning rate significantly reduced, the quality of the proliferation buds apparently improved when buds incubated at stage variable temperature compared to at 32℃ constant temperature. All rooting rates were 100% under different culture temperature and light. The effects of light intensity, temperature and interaction of light and temperature on tube seedling growth were significant. 26℃ and 500-1250 lx favored root formation and growth; at the range from 500 lx to 1250 lx, the height of seedlings was increased with the increase of light intensity; the interaction effect of high and temperature on leaf number was extremely significant, leaf number of seedling was the highest under 26℃ and 1250 lx light intensity.
