Avian leukosis was a tumor infection disease harmed to chicken industry of China and prevalent in decade years. Avian leukosis virus subgroup J was the pathogeny of avian leukosis subgroup J of broilers and egg chickens. This paper summarized the advance in detection methods (etiology method, immunology method and molecular biology method) of avian leukosis virus subgroup J.
