The Belonging of Dark Brown Soil in the East of Jilin Province in Chinese Soil Taxonomy

Abstract:

In order to research the belongs of dark brown soil in the east of Jilin Province in the Chinese soil taxonomy, the author used the present mainstream of soil taxonomy method of international soil classification, 5 typical profiles of dark brown soil in the east Jilin Province of China were researched in this study. By field survey, profile description, the physical and chemical characteristics analysis of the soils, the author studied thoroughly the soil genetic, identified diagnostic horizon and diagnostic characteristics, on the basis of the keys to Chinese soil taxonomy (3rd edition), initially identified in eastern Jilin dark brown soil classification of Chinese soil taxonomy as argosols and cambosols 2 soil classes, boric argosols and udic cambosols 2 subclasses.
