Abstract:

The mutagenesis breeding in vitro of plants has been widely used in the screening of disease resistance, top quality，high yield of new germplasm. In this paper, the overview of somaclonal variation in plant were briefly introduced, the method of selection，detection on variation，the development and current status and the application in lily of the mutagenesis breeding in vitro were summarized. The superiority of the technology for mutagenesis in vitro and the application perspective of breeding for disease resistance in lily were analyzed.
