Abstract:

n order to study the bioavailability of heavy metals and their influencing factors, the chemical behavior of heavy metal in soils and the influencing factors on heavy metals bioavailability was reviewed; also the evaluation method of heavy metal bioavailability was discussed. It showed that the studies of the heavy metal species in the entering membranes process were relatively insufficient and more concern should be focused on the heavy metals bioavailability in some special ecosystem, such as water-level-fluctuating zone and riparian wetland. In the future, more studies should be conducted on heavy metal chemical behavior in rhizosphere and a universal method estimating heavy metal bioavailability should be established to improve the relative apprehensibility between studies in this field.
