Abstract: The seed of Suaeda salsa was treated with different concentration of natural soil salt solution, Na2SO4 and NaCl ,salinity from 0、0.2、0.4、0.6、1.2、1.8、2.8、3.6g/100ml .The germination percentage and growth status of scion and radicle were determined. After removing the stress , the response of the seed and seedling were also observed. The results showed that stronger adaptation of Suaeda salsa to the saline environment were approved. It could bear higher salt stress. The inhibition to the seed germination was NaCl> natural soil salt solution >Na2SO4.With the increasing of salts, the germination percentage had different decrease. After removing the salt stress, the seed of Suaeda salsa still had higher ability to germination. The speed and the orderliness of germination were also improved. The scion and radicle had different response to the salts, and the salt concentrations had more influence on the radicle. After being tempered by the salt, the ability of growing of the seedling was improved.
