Abstract:

Quantitative assessment for the water quality and contamination status trend of Weihe River of Baoji section provided a basis for environmental protection and water management. Based on the application of the improved gray correlation method, using the experimental data and monitoring results, the quantitative calculation and evaluation of BOD5, chemical oxygen demand, permanganate index, NH3-N, TP, TN 6 quality indicators were executed. The Water Quality in Weihe River of Baoji was generally good, the evaluation section of the water quality met or exceeded water quality standards appropriate functional areas, including Linjia Village sectionⅡ, Shengli Bridge, Wolongsi and Changxing Bridge section Ⅲ water quality standard could be achieved, the water quality of Guozhen Bridge and the Caijiapo Bridge was poorly achieved Ⅳ. While evaluation results also showed that organic pollution was still the limiting factor of water quality. The improved gray correlation analysis, with the characteristics of accuracy and objectivity had good effect on the water quality assessment in Weihe River of Baoji section.
