Abstract:

Taking SNA04, a good strain of A. mellea, as objective, certain different supplementary nutrient sources were added in the course of culturing the A. mellea so as to observe the effect of the supplementary nutrient sources on the growth of the A. mellea, which would lay the foundation for the seed-producing industrialization and mass production of the A. mellea in Zhaotong Prefecture. By using SNA04 as strain of the A. mellea and oak branches as main medium, different concentration gradients of glucose, ethanol, yeast extracts, protein peptone and potato juice were used as the supplementary nutrient sources to cultivate cultivation seeds of A. mellea. The results were as follows: the growth of rhizomorphs after adding the supplementary nutrient sources, compared with the control, accelerated and the growth of strains improved, manifesting as the rhizomrphs of high-speed growth, multiple branching and white complexion as well as robustness. In particular, the growth speed of rhizomorphs was the fastest in the strain bottles with the potato juice of 250 g/L reaching an average growth speed of 1.29 cm/d, which boosted the strains of the control 0.48 cm/d faster. Among the five sorts of nutrient sources added, the fittest for the growth of the rhizomrphs was the sources added in potatoes. Potato was the main products of high-yielding crop in Zhaotong prefecture, which would be used as supplementary nutrient source to cultivate the cultivation seeds of A. mellea.
