Abstract:

Bread is the staff of life, and food is the source of grain. Manufacture and supply of grain is a fundamental and strategic task to China with such a huge population. Through a brief review of CPC core leaders’ awareness of grain problems, we induce their inheritance of the idea systems of the relationship between grain and industry, that’s to say, their adherence to the guiding principle of taking agriculture as the foundation in developing the national economy. Through analyzing CPC core leaders’ methods to release the peasants' initiative and increase grain output on the basis of their understandings of China’s reality; we induced their innovative ideas on grain policy. With comparing and evaluating their ideas of grain problems, this thesis put forward that, on the basis of continuity and stability of grain policy, we should innovate grain theory with the variations of domestic and international situations.
