Abstract: Aphids belong to Homoptera Aphidoidea, Which are one kind of the most important garden plant pests. 125 Aphid specimens are collected from the garden plant in Hefei during April and May in 2003. The results of the study show that there are 31 species of aphids on the garden plant in Hefei, belonging to 21 genera, 7 families. The causes of breaking out aphids were analyzed and the controlling countermeasures were put forward for the references of gardeners who engage in preventing aphis.
