Abstract:
In order to protect, develop and utilize the plant resource of Wanquan River basin in Hainan Province better, discuss the scientific and reasonable management model of vegetation recovery, the author had conducted a preliminary study to flora of Wanquan River basin in Hainan Province based on lots of consultation of literatures and field investigations. The results showed that: (1) there were recorded vascular plants 546 families and infraspecies, contained vascular plants 138 families, 411 genera: pteridophytes 19 families, 27 genera, 38 species; gymnosperms 4 families, 6 genera, 6 species; angiosperms 115 families, 378 genera, 502 species; (2) There were 9 families of spermatophyte with more than 10 species,7 genera of spermatophyte with more than 4 species; (3) Areal-types of families and genera of spermatophyte were 11 and 14, pan-tropical elements of the two occupied 62.8% and 32.6% of the non-world distribution; (4) Chinese endemic genera was little, only 3, 0.82% of the total non-world genera; (5) Making pointed references to 6 management models of vegetation recovery: reforestation update, forest reservation, thinning, tending in sapling stage, replanting and transformation, turning economic forest to ecological forest. It was showed that there were plentiful plant resources in Wanquan River basin. Angiosperms had an absolute advantage over the others, which had a high degree of differentiation and a phenomenon of superior flora, of which dispersion patterns were varied and geographical elements were complicated, which had a significant tropical and subtropical nature.
