Abstract:
To study the relevance between formation of characteristics of Yunnan tobacco and different meteorological factors, by collecting flue-cured tobacco samples and collecting related sites’ meteorological data of Yunnan Province, using principles of gray relational analysis correlation between chemical composition of tobacco samples and 30 meteorological factors of Yunnan. The results showed that the stability and chemical quality of tobacco in Yunnan were good. Content of nicotine had high relevance with the mature period average temperature. Content of total sugar had the higher relevance with the average sunshine hours and average sunshine whole radiation of June. The relevance between reducing sugar and meteorological factors had the consistent result with total sugar. Content of total nitrogen had the highest relevance with the mature period average temperature. Content of K had the higher relevance with average relative humidity of the mature period. Content of Cl had the higher relevance with average relative humidity of May. It can clearly be seen, average temperature of May to September, average relative humidity of May and average sunshine hours of the mature period were the key meteorological factors which affect the chemical compositions accumulation of flue-cured tobacco.
