Abstract: In order to improve the structure of potato, enrich the market and satisfy the people’s needs, we used the ‘Qingshu168’ (red skin and yellow sarcocarp) and ‘Heimeiren’ (purple skin and purple sarcocarp) as parentstrain, and created a batch of new potato varieties with excellent characters prominent, vigorous growth, heat tolerance and high production through sexual hybridization. The types of the color potatoes were red skin red sarcocarp type, red skin white satcocarp type, red skin purple sarcocarp type, purple skin purple sarcocarp type, purple skin yellow sarcocarp type, etc. After screening, we chose 11 varieties among these types, such as ml08-1-53, and made the contrast experimental research. The results showed that, there were 7 varieties had 32.3%-64.7% increase in yield, comparing with the first reference object ‘Qingshu Ⅱ’. And there were 7 varieties, had 153.9%-216.1% increase in yield, comparing with the second reference object ‘Heimeiren’.
