Abstract:

The research aimed to determine the common-toxicity of the mixture of rotenone and azadirachtin and provide theoretical basis for developing natural pesticides. The antifeeding and contacting activities of rotenone and azadirachtin and their admixture against the 2rd-instar larvae of Diamondback Moth were conducted in laboratory. The results showed that a 1:7 mixture of azadirachitin and rotenone was the most synergetic with a co-toxicity coefficient of 322.96. On this condition the admixture had the most synergistic effect, the LC50 was 49.72 mg/L for up to 48 h. The admixture produced amaximum anti-feeding effect and the AFC50 was 22.19 mg/L when the admixture was blended with rotenone and azadirachitin at the ratio of 7:1. On this condition was the most synergetic with a co-toxicity coefficient of 292.22.
