Abstract:
A bacterial strain MAF-1 with anti-fungal effect was isolated from the cultural material for Edible Fungi. This stain showed good inhibitory effects on one soil unknown fungis, some anthracnose pathogen, trichoderma spp., Gibberella fujikuroi. It was identified as Bacillus pumilus by physiological-biochemical properties and phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA sequence.
