Abstract:

Peony is a valuable ornamental and medicinal plant, however, with the continuous cropping and the increase of grow area and variety, peony soil-borne disease has been more and more important and seriously affected the normal growth and development, seeding and flower quality, decreased the values of ornamental and medicinal, affected the industrialization development of peony. Therefore, the types, symptoms, pathogen, occurrence regularity and control method (chemical control, biology control, agricultural regulation, put prevention first and integrated control) of peony soil-borne diseases were summed up systematically in this paper. Based on the analyses, the future research directions were suggested as follows: strengthen biology control of peony soil-borne diseases, conduct thorough research on peony soil-borne disease physiology, and study on the relationship between peony garden soil and peony soil-borne disease. This paper hopes to provide theoretical and practical reference on control of peony soil-borne disease, so as to promoting the industrial progress of peony production.
