Quarantine Weed Oxalis latifolia Firstly Found in China

Abstract: Oxalis latifolia was a new quarantine invasive plant found in Kunming of Yunnan Province in 2010. The weed has caused serious damage to production. To understand damage pattern of O. latifolia, forecast its influence on agricultural production of China, and make effective solutions to control the weed, the present study was carried out to review biological and ecological characteristics and the condition of damage and control in overseas. Moreover, the invasive and colonization risk of O. latifolia in China was analyzed by the software of GBIF. Based on the above analysis, the paper purposed the necessary to launch ecological and damage patterns of O. latifolia, the significance to prevent and resolve its spread in China.
