The Conception, Systems and Technology Innovation of Food Security in China

Abstract: Based on the current situation and development trend of food security in China, the conception, systems and technology innovation approach of food security of China were proposed in this paper. Considering conception innovation of food security, the traditional “grain security” should be changed to “food security”, the three goals of food security, which include quantity security, economical security and quality security, should be realized gradually, grain production and farmer income should be increased synchronously, grain ration security should be ensured and non grain ration market should be opened. Considering systems innovation of food security, the farmland joint-stock management system should be extended; farmland examination and comment management system should be strengthened, the food security monitor and alarm system, food purchase and sale market system, agricultural product quality standard system should be established and improved to strengthen the management of food production and food market. Considering technological innovation of food security, the regional distribution of food production and food market should be adjusted, the multiple cropping and super-high-yield grain production technology should be extended, and agricultural production structure for food security should be established.
