Abstract: The study was carried out to test the planting density, planting time and seedling source three factors influence the original seed yield per plant. The results showed that, different cuttings density had obvious influence on yield per plant, the results of variance analysis extremely reached significantly, planted 400 seedlings per square density resulted the highest yield per plant, 2.5 grain, planting density was too low or too high yield per plant decreased significantly. Different planting time also had obvious influence on yield per plant, the optimum planting time for March 15 to April 1 in Sichuan, too early or too late to plant yield per plant will reduce. The yield per plant of the tube plantlet was equal to those of cutting stock, microtuber had the highest yield per plant, reach to 3.5 grains. The choice of an appropriate planting density, master planting time and use the appropriate source of seedlings was the basic to increase the total output of the Pre-elite in large-scale Pre-elite virus-free potato production enterprise.
