Abstract: The seeds of Phyllostacchys edulis were irradiated by different does of 60Coγrays, the effects of the radiation on endogenous hormones contents during seed germination. The endogenous hormones of ABA、GA3、IAA、ZR were examined by high-performance liquid chromatography. The results showed that the germination process could be accelerated by 15 Gy 60 Co γ and 30 Gy 60 Co γ rays, thereby led to increased values of GA3/ABA、IAA/ABA、(GA3+ZR）/ABA and ZR/ABA , consequently promoted seed germination 12h compared with the control. 60 Gy-120 Gy 60Coγrays could inhibit the germination process, the content of GA3、IAA、ZR were decreased, while ABA was increased, the values of GA3/ABA、IAA/ABA、（GA3+ZR）/ABA and ZR/ABA were decreased compared with CK.
