Abstract: The paper analyzed genetic basis of Kefeng No.2 and its utilization in breeding and exploring innovation and utilization of germplasm resources. Excellent spring wheat germplasm Kefeng No.2 was bred on the base of theory of ecology breeding, using inside and outside parents and ladder style complex crossing was adopted by Wheat Research Institute of Heilongjiong Academy of Agri. Sci. It has high cooperated ability, high yielding, complex resistance and other characteristic Kefeng No.2 was used as parents in many breeding institutes in Heilongjiang province. Adopting different breeding ways, 15 wheat varieties have been used in wheat production.
