Study of the Objective Weighting Method Based on Data Information in Land Resource Evaluation

Abstract: Nowadays, quite a lot of objective weighting methods were used in evaluating index, and results of all the methods for the same index data were different, some common objective weighting methods were classified and regulated. Meanwhile, land consolidation evaluation data in Zhuanglang County in Gansu Province were taken as the basic materials. From the principle of objective weighting method, based on characteristics of data information, introducing coefficient of variation (cv) and variance inflation factor (vif), according to mean cv and mean vif in different indicator systems, differential group and related group were created. Under every indicator system, different methods were compared and analyzed. The results showed that: (1) among the method of entropy, variation coefficient, mean square difference and maximizing difference diciding based on different information, the entropy method was best; (2) the results of the entropy method using different information and the multiple coefficient method using repeated information were different; (3) combinational weighting method based on the entropy method and the multiple correlation coefficient method was optimal.
