Abstract: In order to study variation of body temperature of interspecific and intraspecific between Heilongjiang grass lizard and white-striped grass lizard in sympatric distribution, we measured body temperature of adult and larval of two grass lizards and their ambient temperature four times every day. Results showed that the average daily body temperature of two grass lizards both adult and larvae were no interspecific difference, but the larvae’s body temperature was significantly highly than adult’s body temperature. Daily average body temperature was affected by SVL, body weight and was significant correlation on environmental temperature. The changed curves of daily average body temperature of two grass lizards were single-peak type and the highest body temperature was on 10:00 in a day time. Body temperature of two lizards were significantly higher than ambient temperature, therefore, with the domain distribution of two grass lizards thermoregulation ability have a certain convergence, environment temperature significantly affected the temperature change.
