Effect of Ultradry Storage on the Seed Vigor of Maize

Abstract: The effect of ultradry on the seed vigor of maize were studied. The results were as follows: Ultradrying treatments did not induce any significant changes either seed vigor or the activities of SOD and POD of maize seeds, and the slight damage of cell membrane induced by ultradrying treatments could be repaired during the seeds imbibition, so it was suitable for ultradry storage .
