Abstract: Chlorantraniliprole is a new anthranilic diamide insecticide acting with high efficacy on insect ryanodine receptors. Because of its excellent insecticidal activity, broad insecticidal spectrum, long lasting crop protection, difficult resistance to insects, non-target organisms safety and no cross-resistance to other existing insecticides, it is becoming widely used for pest control in agriculture, especially lepidopteran pests of rice and vegetable crops. To understand the degradation of chlorantraniliprole and its residue analytical methods in agricultural and environmental samples, the physical
