Abstract: The trial used some innoxious remainder of production as non-soil base mediums which were compounded to six combined mediums to culture carpet sod. The result showed that the medium mixed with coal ash, vinegar-waste and straws had some characteristics of its own in culturing carpet sod, such as no weeds, fast grown, low-weight, easily-operated and so on. Using this kind of mixed medium, we not only lowed transportation expense but also had good carpet sod. The study provides a new technology for Lawn production.
