Abstract: The study aims to provide technological support for breeding lycium. On the basis of lycium virus-free plantlet, the stems were used as explants, and the exogenous hormones IAA, IBA, GA and NAA were added to MS medium. Influence of those hormones on rooting and growth of lycium plantlets were investigated and analyzed. The results showed that exogenous IAA had a promoting effect on the rooting and growth of lycium stem in vitro, the effect was most significant with the concentration of 1.0 mg/L. After 30 days culture, the root number was 22.03, the root length was 15.13 cm and the fresh weight was 0.6015 g/plantlet. The treatment of exogenous IAA (1.0 mg/L) and 30 days culture was the best for promoting the rooting and growth of lycium plantlets.
