Abstract: A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) standardized method was established to simultaneous determine the content of resveratrol in agricultural products such as peanut skin, grape skin, alfalfa, Polygonum cuspidatum and Veratrum nigrum Linn.. The HPLC conditions were as follows: Waters Atlantis T3 C18 column (4.6 mm i.d.×150 mm, 3 μm) was used at 40℃ with acetonitrile-water containing 0.1% acetic acid (26:74, v/v) as the mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, diode array detector with the detection at 306 nm. The limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantification (LOQs) for peanut skin, grape skin and alfalfa were 0.6 μg/g and 2.0 μg/g. LODs and LOQs forPolygonum cuspidatum andVeratrum nigrum Linn. were 7.5 μg/g and 25 μg/g. The results of methodological study demonstrated that the method met the requirements of the determination. The method was simple, fast, accurate and reproducible for the analysis of resveratrol in agricultural products.
