Abstract: B nutrient solutions and water(CK) were sprayed on leaves and fruits two times during the developmental stage of aril, effects of boron nutrition and chitosan films on fruit quality and storability of longan were also discussed. The results showed that pre-harvest boron nutrition spray had obviously increased internal quality and storability of longan fruit. Postharvest chitosan films had also significantly increased healthy fruit rate, decreased fruit weight lose rate, inhibited changing speed of nutrition of flesh during storage; The effect of B+chitosan treatment was greater than others treatment, but the effects of 3g/L and 6g/L chitosan treatment on storability were not significant different.
