Abstract: The seeding experiments of 3 new-type wild sterile rice: Huachuan 4A, HuaJ2A and HuaS40A, were carried out by stages.And the bearing, leaf-age , the Exposing rate of stigma, habits and characteristics of blossoming ,and the agricultural properties were observed . The results indicate: 3 sterile rice have stable character in the sterile time, on the contrary, have fairly good bearing rate; and the bearing period is about 60~70d;the lades in the main stem is 13 or 14;the open angle of glume is 30~40°; the Exposing rate of stigma is 39.1%~46.8% or so; the blossoming time concentrated; and the agricultural properties are more steady.
