  Detection of the Rate of Lymphocyte Transformation by Using Whole Blood Cultivate and ELISA Tan Leitao, Wang Lingyan, Chang Weishan, Shen Cuicui 2006, 22 (1):  1-1.  Abstract + ( 1448 )   60 healthy chickens were divided into two groups, immunological inhibition and control. After 3 days injected, the chickens were drew blood to cultivate the full blood by whole blood method and MTT method. Taking supernatant and centrifuging on OD570nm at 24h, 48h, 72h, 96h and 120h. MTT is the same as the last. Detecting the OD570nm value of the supernatant at 72h and the cell suspension of MTT method at 48h, indicating twice at the same condition after mixing and the next day indicating again. As a result: The OD570nm value of supernatant and MTT all reflect the condition of the lymphocyte transformation. The repeatability of the whole blood method is better than the MTT.

The way: Divide the intestinal mucosa microvascular endothelial cells fostered into blank control group and LPS group and further divide each group into four minor groups according to the time: 3h, 6h, 9h, 12h. Add feeding medium into the blank control group while fill 1μg/mlLPS nutrient liquid into LPS group. After that, put them into CO2 incubators and cultivate them statically. Result: The secretion of NO rises obviously and arrives at the peak in three hours before it lowers gradually. The secretion of ET rises rapidly and arrives at the peak in 9 hours, then it begins to lower gradually, however, it always stays at a high level. Conclusion: the functional mechanism of LPS damaging intestinal mucosa microvascular endothelial cells may be that LPS leads to the rise in the secretion of NO and ET.

Two differential fragments were cloned and sequenced. sequence analysis at nucleotide acid level indicates that BY1949 has 87% identity with proton-dependent peptide transporter-like protein from Arabidopsis thaliana, and that has 58% identity at the protein level. And at nucleotide acid level BY2562 has 99% identity with atp8, atp9, nad6 and cob-Sp allele in CMS carota, Expect = 0.0. At the protein level that has 97% identity with ORFB gene and YMF19 of CMS common sunflower mitochondrion, as well as ATP-8，orfB-F1 in CMS carrot. In addition the identity is over 90% with orfB protein of Nicotiana tabacum, orf224 of Brassica napus, orf158 of radish, orfB of Arabidopsis thaliana and mitochondrial membrane associated protein of Brassica juncea.

Experimental result shows that Clone C103 has a high expression in the periphery of central cap under normal condition; and its expression is inhibited efficiently by clofibric acid, especially clofibric acid 10-5 mol/L makes very weak expression of Clone C103 in the outmost of central cap. The primary result reveals that the normal expression of Clone C103 is profoundly regulated by endogenous auxin in maize root tip, and the expression of Clone C103 maybe has some relationship with statolith in the periphery of central cap.

It is considered somatic embryo of garlic has similar structure with that of zygotic embryo.

The result shows that the more direct influence to smoking aroma quality is from CL, reducing sugar and K/CL, but the opposite influence is from RS/NT and nicotine. Therefore it is helpful to improve smoking aroma quality through enhancing CL, reducing sugar and K/CL and receding RS/NT and nicotine properly.

Soluble sugar content and free amino acid content in clove were higher than Cang Shan garlic’s and Soviet garlic’s. Allicin content of bolt was higher than Cang Shan garlic’s and Soviet garlic’s. Protein and Vc of bolt and clove were both lower than Cang Shan garlic’s and Soviet garlic’s.

The results indicated in both that chalkiness was positively correlated with brown rice , chalky grain, grain width, amylase content, pasting temperature, protein content, and negatively correlated with head milled rice , translucency, grain length, length/width ratio, gel consistency. There is some difference between types. Effects of chalkiness on rice quality properties were sketchly analyzed. Author’s personal views about intensive research over all and developing quality ways were given.

And to setting up a method controlling TCM quality .We setted up characteristic chemical ingredients fingerprint of Cotex Moutan from Chongqing. And gained the chemical ingredients chromatogram of the samples, analyzed the quality changing law during its growing progress by similarity calculating. The testing results showed that the chromatogram similarity degree of the samples which have grew for 4~5 years and harvested in Octobor is the highest with the chemical ingredients characteristic fingerprint of Cotex Moutan from Chongqing. It also showed the chemical ingredients chromatographic fingerprint is a technique, which can evaluate quality of traditional material medicine from various visual angles. It is more effective to guide the culture of herbs.

The results indicated that significant differences of SR exist among the varieties, the SR of Liaojing 5 is lower than that of Liaoyan 16, but Liaojing 454’s is higher than Liaoyan 16’s; SR varies along the panicle axis, the SR of the upper part is higher than that of the lower part, the SR of primary branch (PB) is high and uniform along the panicle axis, and the SR of secondary branch (SB) is mostly low; source reduced, SR fell, the SR of Liaojing 5 and Liaoyan 16 fell distinctly after being clipped flag leaf, whereas SR rose by clipping half the 1st or 2ed below the flag leaf; sink reduced, SR rose, by clipping PB of certain part of the panicle the SR of SB of corresponding part and total panicle rose evidently; SR of different part of the panicle axis, PB and SB respond diversely to treatment of source and sink, the lower and middle part of the panicle axis were more sensitive than the upper part, and SB were more sensitive than PB, Liaojing 5 has the most visible trend.

The results showed that it was different the wheat varieties drought resistance measurement and the wheat germplasm resources screening with drought resistance, DRC expressed the stable yield ability of the wheat varieties, it was clearer to jig drought resistance wheat germplasm resources. Compared with the wheat varieties as contrast, DI included the opposite yield (drought resistance coefficient) and absolute yield of the wheat variety, it was more operational to combine the drought resistance measurement with the regional test and wheat varieties yield experiments. Therefore, the DI would be the comprehensive drought resistance measured index; it was the most perfect to be used in the wheat varieties regional test and wheat drought breeding.

The results showed that no tillage and deep loosing could improve soil structure and water holding capacity, and then increase water use efficiency and yield. So it is necessary and prospective to extend the conservation tillage techniques-no tillage and deep loosing.

  Studies on the characters of dry matter production and transition in two-line hybrid rice Li Daheng, Tu Naimei 2006, 22 (1):  114-114.  Abstract + ( 1362 )   PDF ( 261728KB )   ( 545 ) The characters of dry matter production and its transition were analyzed with 4 two-line hybrid rice and 2 three-line hybrid rice under mountainous area of western Hunan. The results showed that: as for two-line hybrid rice, the accumulated dry matter in leaves and leaf-sheathes was more, and the amount of accumulated dry matter transition to panicle at late stage was higher. The average total dry weight was 39.7g/hill at flag-leaf full developed stage, the weight of stem+leaf-sheath+leaf was 41.0g/hill, 14.41% and 23.88% higher than that of three-line hybrid rice respectively. The average amount of dry matter transmitted from stems, leaf-sheathes and leaves to panicles was 16.4g/hill, 18.84% higher than that of three-line hybrid rice; The average transition ratio was 40.00%, equivalent to that of three-line hybrid rice (40.18%); The contribution ratio of accumulated dry matter the grain yield was 43.27%, 5 percentage higher than that of three-line hybrid rice.

The result showed Chuanmai 44 has strong gluten, high yield, high-resistance to stripe rust, high tiller ability, more kernels per spike, short plant, early mature, and better yield components. It was a new good-quality wheat variety for the wheat-growing region in Sichuan province. The component of HMW-GS was 1，7+8，5+10，according to Payne criterion， the score was ten of Chuanmai 44. Meanwhile, the breeding and development of good quality were discussed in Sichuan.

It was scientific, feasible and applied that applying drought resistance index appraise drought resistance.

It is suitable to be planted in Northern Huaihe River Region in Jiangsu and Anhui province ,even potentially in the regions of Southern Henan province and Southwestern Shandong province in China.It has been applied for national plant variety right protection of new soybean varieties.

Else, the soluble protein and free amino acid were higher in bolting onions, the soluble sugar, C/N and POD activity were higher in unbolting onions on bolting period. Maybe it was caused by different growth periods. SDS-PAGE indicated that protein was different with the two treatments.

All of the posterity indica rice PTGMS lines were detected of SSR polymorphism, but the quantity of sites being detected is variant between the lines. It was preliminarily proved that some DNA segments of maize might have been transferred into rice PTGMS lines by rice and maize distant hybrid, and the improvement of indica rice PTGMS lines had been succeeded preliminarily.

Their effects on transport are estimated by content of N, P and K in the leaf blade. Inhibition effects of both CB and APM increase steadily with their concentration, whereas ACh behaves differently, exhibiting promotion in range of lower concentration. All the results support the postulation that the peripheral protoplasm in the sieve tube serves not only as a passive semi-permeable membrane, but also directly involved in phloem transport.

Leucadendron “Safari Sunset” started to grow earlier and increased more height than Leucadendron “Inca Gold”. With an increase of 5cm per month in height, Leucospermum reached growth peak during July and August, but the total growth was less. Chamelaucium kept growing all the year around. Chamelaucium “Pink Pride” reached growth peak from July to August with an increase of about 20cm per month but Chamelaucium “Purple Pride” did not have growth peak. The results showed that except early stage yield ,other characters fit to the ‘additive-dominant' model, the additive effect was major, early stage yield was also influenced by epistasis effect, but was mainly controlled by dominant effect. It has super dominance. Except early yield and fruit diameter，the other characters had high broad heritability and narrow heritability, so the environment had little influence on them, which can be selected in early generation; Fruit diameter and early yield which had the lowest narrow heritability was mainly controlled by the non-additive effects.

Beijing xiaoza 55(Chinese cabbage) has the highest Shoot cadmium concentration that is 61.4 mg/kg; Hong Kong baihua's (Chinese kale) shoot cadmium concentration, however, is only 18.6 mg/kg、. BAF among all the species vegetables exist significant difference. The BAF of xiaoza 55(Chinese cabbage) is high to 3.07. But that of Hong Kong baihua (Chinese kale) and jinqiuhong2 was just 0.93, 0.97 respectively. Both were less than 1. The edible part safety of vegetables will be higher if Hong Kong baihua (Chinese kale) and jinqiuhong2 are planted on the light cadmium contaminated farmland.

The results show that the digestive tract consist of 4 layers, including mucosa, submucosa, muscular coat, and serosa. The digestive tract is varied in the mucosae and muscularis among the different parts such as esophagus, stomach and intestine. Mucosa epithetlium consists of stratified squamous cells on esophagus and simple columnar cells on stomach and intestine. The stomach and intestine of muscularis consist of innercircular smooth muscle and outerlongitudinal smooth muscle. In addition, the fine structure features of mucosa epithetlium cells, gland’s distribution and the thickness of muscularis are also varied in the different parts of the digestive tract.
