Diploid and Artificial Induced Homologous Tetraploid of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim.: AFLP Analysis of Genetic Diversity

Abstract: The paper aims to study the genetic diversity between diploid and homologous tetraploid of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim chemically induced by colchicines from the DNA molecule level. We took the diploid and homologous tetraploid of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim. as experimental materials and analyzed the DNA polymorphism and genetic distance by the AFLP molecular markers. The results showed that: there were significant differences in the DNA molecular genetic structure between homologous tetraploid induced by colchicines and diploid of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim., and the DNA polymorphism of the diploid was higher than that of homologous tetraploid and the genetic distance between individual plants of tetraploid was higher than that of diploid in the whole level. The result provides a basis for further development of polyploid breeding and taking advantages of polyploid of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim.
