Abstract: Aiming at the prevention of mango meteorological disasters, we established an evaluation index and model of climate suitability of mango flowering period in Changjiang Hainan. Using the correlation coefficient method, we clarified the weight to establish the climate suitability degree, and determined the climate suitability evaluation index according to its correlation with the mango meteorological yield. There was a significant correlation between meteorological yield index and climate suitability index. The low index of climate suitability of mango flowering period was mainly from December to early February next year. And the humidity suitability index could better reflect the bumper and poor harvest of mango unit yield. It is suggested that the flowering period of mango should be arranged in the middle of February and after. And the low temperature, overcast and rainy weather should be avoided, and the dry weather during flowering is more favorable to the high yield of mango.
