Abstract: The research advance on three major greenhouse gases’emission and the influencing factors on farmland greenhouse gas emission are discussed in this paper. The results indicated that greenhouse gas emission from farmland was affected by fertilizers, tillage methods, soil moisture, soil temperature, soil texture, soil organic matter, plastic film mulching, mechanized operation and so on. The reduction of farmland greenhouse gas emission could be carried out from reducing emission, enhancing removal, and replacing (avoiding) emission. To achieve the sustainable development of agriculture with production and income increase and emission reduction should be based on local conditions, new fertilizers’development, rational irrigation, and scientific cultivation and management of soil.
