Abstract: Landscape architecture development is based on cultural background and influenced by some aesthetic conceptions. According to systematical analyses, the author supposes there are natural aesthetic conception and ecological aesthetic conception in traditional planting design. We hope to have a more profound understanding of modern aesthetic conception, and to specifically guide the application of the theory and promote the developing of modern planting design.
