Abstract: To construct an animal model of mouse infected by Listeria monocytogenes and screen the effective Chinese medicinal formulae to treat this bacteriosis. Mice were infected with the method of oral inoculation, and animal model was constructed by the parameter of the clinical situation and the change of patho-dissect.To screen the effective Chinese medicinal formulae according to treatment based on syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Animal model of Kunming mouse infected by Listeria monocytogenes was successfully constructed, and the effective Chinese medicinal formulae including Cornu Bubali，Radix Rehmanniae et al. five herbs was screened.The cure rate was 75% and the effective rate was 90%. The results showed mouse could be used to construct a model infected by Listeria monocytogenes and the Chinese medicinal formulae had a well effect to this bacteriosis.
