  Dietary Protein Level of Laying Hens Affects Yolk Deposition of Maternal Hormones and Offspring Growth Chen Lei, Rao Kaiqing, Yang Xiaojing, Chen Jie, Zhao Ruqian 2007, 23 (7):  6-6.  Abstract + ( 1300 )   160 Langshan breeder hens were randomly divided into 3 groups, fed with 10% (low), 15% (control) and 20% (high) crude protein (CP) diet, respectively for21days. Fertile eggs were collected 10 days after the dietary treatment. 10 eggs each group were used to determine the yolk deposition of maternal thyroid hormones and glucagon with radioimmunoassay, and the remaining eggs were incubated. Newly hatched chickens were raised under the same condition until 28 days of age and the growth performance of the offspring was recorded. 10 chicks from each group were sacrificed on day 1 and day 28, respectively for sampling. Results: Dietary protein level showed no significant effect on body weight of the hens, yet the egg laying rate and egg weight decreased markedly in the low-CP diet group (p<0.05). Egg weight in the high-CP diet group is significantly higher than the controls. Yolk contents of T3 and glucagon didn’t show differences among groups, while that of T4 in the high-CP diet group was significantly higher than the other two groups (p<0.05). At hatching, serum levels of T3 in the low-CP group and T4 in the high-CP diet group were significantly higher than the controls (p<0.05). Strong positive relationship was found between hatch weight and fertile egg weight (R2=0.9275, p<0.01). Both high- and low- CP diet group showed higher growth rate after hatching. Relative breast muscle weight and body weight in the low-CP diet group were markedly higher than that in the control group on 28 days (p<0.05), whereas that in the high-CP group showed a trend of increase, compared with that of the control group (p=0.08). Conclusion: Dietary protein level in hens could significantly change the yolk deposition of maternal hormones and offspring growth.

  The influence of the harvested time on the yield of nutrient substance of corn stalk Zhao Lihua, Mo Fang, Yu Ruhua, Chen Yao, Zhang Xiaoming 2007, 23 (7):  11-11.  Abstract + ( 1384 )   【Objective】Four different maize cultivars, nongda108, gaoyou115, jifeng58, zhengdan958, were chosen to study the effects of different harvested time on the yield of nutrient substance of corn stalk.【Method】The corn stalk were harvested at the growth days of the 92nd ,96th ,100th and 104th, respectively.【Results】The results indicated that there were obvious effects on the yield of organ matter, crude protein, fiber substance and digestible organ matter by different harvested time and different maize cultivars.【Conclusion】The results of trials indicate that the corn stalk could be harvested at the growth days of the 100th.

  Construction of a Subtracted DNA Library between Salmonella Pullorum and Salmonella Gallinarum Xu Yaohui,,, Jiao Xinan,, Li Qiuchun, Pan Zhiming, Huang Jinlin 2007, 23 (7):  15-15.  Abstract + ( 1427 )   To understand the genomic differences between Salmonella pullorum and Salmonella gallinarum and to screen Salmonella pullorum-specific sequences that could serve as diagnostic markers, SSH technique was used to compare the genomic differences between S. pullorum C79-13 (tester) and S.gallinarum Sg9 (driver). The tester and driver genomic DNA were digested with Rsa I to give a range of blunt-ended fragments between 100bp and 2000bp. The digested tester DNA was then subdivided into two portions, which were ligated with adaptor 1 and adaptor 2R respectively. Twice hybridizations and two times PCR were performed. The mixture of subtracted DNA fragments were cloned into PCR?2.1 cloning vector and transformed into E.coli DH5α competent cell to construct the subtracted DNA library.The results are as follows: 400 positive clones were obtained; Analysis of 240 clones with PCR shows that all plasmids in the clones contain about 100~2000 bp inserts．The constructed DNA subtractive library lays foundation for screening and cloning relational genes of Salmonella pullorum, and further establishing new system for molecular differentiation .

  The Correlation Analysis of Line H Males of Recessive White Rock Between Stature Traits and Semen Quality Jia Rumin, Liu Yingxian, Ye Changhui, Feng Ye, Du Bingwang 2007, 23 (7):  23-23.  Abstract + ( 1443 )   Using canonical correlation analysis method to analyze the relation of nine stature traits and three semen quality traits of the line H males of recessive white rock, it indicate that the first canonical correlation coefficient between two traits is 0.8481(p<0.05), which takes up about 50.5%in total correlation information. The correlation relation between stature traits and semen quality mainly engendered by the heart girth(X8) and sperm concentration(X11), and it is a negative correlation .It’s advised that we'd better strengthen to choose the stature traits in the future selection of the line H males of recessive white rock, especially pay more attention to select the heart girth and control it in the proper level, in order to improve body conformation and ensure the good semen quality.

  Isolation and characterization of type A Clostridium perfringens Gao Wenwei, Guo Hongwei, Ren Jiayan, Jiang Yuwen Yang Maorong, Zhao Yuchen, Cai Kuiqiang, ZhouXianli 2007, 23 (7):  28-28.  Abstract + ( 1477 )   Samples were collected from 39 cases of cervus hemorrhagic enteritis in Shanxi province, the major microbial pathogen were isolated and examined microscopically, then identified through serum reaction, the preliminary result showed it is type A Clostridium perfringens, the result were further　confirmed by PCR and sequence analysis. So the conclusion was made that type A Clostridium perfringens is the major pathogen that causing cervus hemorrhagic enteritis in Shanxi province, and therefore provide basis for the disease prevention and vaccine development.

  Cloning and Phylogenetic Analysis of Pig GAD2 Gene Yu Hao, Li Jingfen, Li Li, Ding Linlin, Song Yuefen, Yang Xiuqin, Liu Di, 2007, 23 (7):  33-33.  Abstract + ( 1461 )   The nucleic sequence of Glutamic acid decarboxylase 2(GAD2) was cloned, sequenced using RT-PCR method and DNA sequencing techniques. Then the molecular model of three-dimensional structure of the predicted mature protein was constructed. The results revealed that the GAD2 gene was consistently 1758bp in length, encoding for a predicted polypeptide of 585 amino acid residues, including a pyridoxal-5?-phosphate (PLP). Multiple alignments were used to establish the primary structure homology for 19 glutamate decarboxylases of different origin, to design a phylogenetic tree, These data allowed us to elucidate the paths of divergent and convergent evolution of the enzyme.

  Effects of High Level Magnesium Sulphate on Meat Quality of Crossbred Wild Pig for Short Time Xu Zongyun, Han Junwen 2007, 23 (7):  38-38.  Abstract + ( 1324 )   To study the effect of magnesium sulphate supplementation in the basal diet for 5 day prior to slaughter on meat quality of pigs, seventy-two crossbred wild pigs weighing 90kg were randomly allotted into 4 groups, Each group contained 2 replicates with 3 pigs per replicate, The levels of magnesium sulphate supplementation were 0, 1000, 2000 and 3000 mg/kg of Mg contents. The results showed supplementation of 2000mg/kg、3000mg/kg magnesium sulphate significantly improved pH1 and meat color score（p<0.05）by 5.92%、5.10% and 17.77%、16.94% separately. At the same time, it also significantly decreased drip loss by 13.13％ and 17.90%（p<0.05）.2000mg/kg magnesium sulphate significantly improved contents of Mg in serum and muscle by 26.15% and 13.81% .3000mg/kg magnesium sulphate also significantly improved contents of Mg in serum and muscle by 30.77% and 15.98% separately.

  The Effect of Space Flight Carrying on the Biological Characters of Sp1 from the Seeds of Achyranthes bidentata Li Jingui, Zhu Kui, Shen Haiyu, Gu Wenying, Liu Zongping 2007, 23 (7):  42-42.  Abstract + ( 1561 )   The seeds of Achyranthes Bidentata from recoverable satellite were used in this study. The agricultural characters of SP1 from the seeds were observed, and the physiological and biochemical indexes which were chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, soluble sugar, proline, soluble proteins and gibberellin in SP1 were detected, the isoenzymes(super-oxide dismutase, catalase and amylase) were analyzed by PAGE. The results showed that the outer-space environment maybe cause the different variations of the SP1 compared with the control. One SOD isoenzyme band lacked in HT-2 compared with those of the others. The CAT isoenzyme bands in HT-1, HT-2 and HT-3 were much fewer than those of the control, while the Amy isoenzyme bands were almost identical to the control, however, the Amy activities of HT-1, HT-2 and HT-3 were higher than those of the control. The SP1 from the seeds of Achyranthes Bidentata carried by recoverable satellite obviously differed from the control in some biological characters.

  The Test Condition on the Test of Canine Lymphocytes Proliferation Kong Qingbo,, Liu Jianyu, Chang Jianjun,Chen Dekun 2007, 23 (7):  46-46.  Abstract + ( 1423 )   In this present test, a range of hybrid shepherd dogs were selected firstly. Afterwards, the effects of FCS，PBMC，PHA-P of different concentration on promote lymphocytes proliferation were tested by MTT test. The result of experiment demonstrate that the best levels combination of canine lymphocyte，calf blood serum were 5×106 unit/ml， 10% respectively. In the lymphocytic transfer test, PHA-P at dosage of 12.5μg/ ml performed facilitation effects for canine lymphocytic proliferation (p>0.05). ConA at 0.5~2.5μg/ mL markedly proliferated T lymphocytes (p<0.05), with the best effect at 2.5μg/ ml.

  Epidemiology Investigation of Three Porcine Reproductive Disturbance Li Heping, Li Xiaocheng, Wu Faxing, Zhang yanxia, Chen Dekun ,Wang Yueying 2007, 23 (7):  54-54.  Abstract + ( 1498 )   This paper had obtained the data related to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS)，hog cholera(CSF) and porcine circo virus (PCV-Ⅱ ) by questionary , locale inquire and sample detecting for all kind of scale hogpen in Henan province. The results showed that porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) positive hogpen was 34.4%, hog cholera virus (CSFV) positive hogpen was 41.7%, PCV-Ⅱ positive hogpen was 36.2%; the percentages of coinfections of CSFV with PRRSV, CSFV with PCV-Ⅱ was 24.54% and 37.79%, PRRSV with PCV-Ⅱ was 36.87%.The above results suggested that three viruses infection was graveness and the coinfections between the viruses were very prevalent in provinces．

  Effects of Quanmianbao on Dogs During Operation 2007, 23 (7):  58-58.  Abstract + ( 1483 )   The anesthesia effects of QuanMianBao on dog were evaluated by monitoring analgesia, sedation, muscle relaxation, respiration, heart rate, body temperature and saturation of blood oxygen during surgery. The results show that QuanMianBao has little effects on respiration and circulation system, and its anesthesia effects were good, the disadvantage was body temperature dorp obviously, so it is necessary to keep temperature when anesthesia.

  ffects of Different Additives on Fermentation Quality of Napier Grass Silage Chen Eying, Zhuang Yifen, Zhang Wenchang 2007, 23 (7):  61-61.  Abstract + ( 1471 )   Napier grass with 68.3% moisture content was silaged. Napier grass silage was divided into control group, trial 1, trial 2 and trial 3. Trial 1 was added 0.2% fermented green juice, trial 2 was added 0.0001% cellulase,trial 3 was added 0.2% fermented green juice + 0.0001% cellulose. Ensilaged for 50 days at normal temperature, the fermentation quality of silages were measured. The results showed that the addition of fermented green juice and fermented green juice + cellulose could decrease the pH and the content of volatile base nitrogen, and could increase the dry matter recovery rate and the content of crude protein(P<0.01，P<0.05). The fermentation quality of silages was improved

  Effect of Different Age on the Meat Production and Quality of Henan Huai Goa Zhang Guizhi, Li Wantao, Jin Shuangxing 2007, 23 (7):  64-64.  Abstract + ( 1292 )   【Objective】The objective of this study is to study effect of different age on the meat production and quality of Henan Huai goat; 【Method】Henan huai goats are slaughtered at 3 age groups;【Results】The results show as follow :The dressing percentage of Henan Huai goat at 3 age groups is respectively 44.03%(4month), 48.09%(8~10 month), 48.15%(16~18month). The net meat percentage at 3 age groups is respectively 29.24% (4month) ,32.21% (8~10month), 31.22% (16~18month). The content of crude fat increases significantly with age. There are no difference (P > 0. 05) at 3 age groups in some physical traits , such as cooked meat ratio, water-lossing, PH. However,the rib eye area ,cutting , diameter of muscle fiber increases significantly with age;【Conclusion】Meat Production and quality of 8~10 month Henan huai goat are the best at 3 age groups

  Study on the Chinese medicinal formulae to treat the disease infected by Listeria monocytogenes Xu Liang, Chen Xi, Hu Ge, Zhang Tao 2007, 23 (7):  67-67.  Abstract + ( 1439 )   To construct an animal model of mouse infected by Listeria monocytogenes and screen the effective Chinese medicinal formulae to treat this bacteriosis. Mice were infected with the method of oral inoculation, and animal model was constructed by the parameter of the clinical situation and the change of patho-dissect.To screen the effective Chinese medicinal formulae according to treatment based on syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Animal model of Kunming mouse infected by Listeria monocytogenes was successfully constructed, and the effective Chinese medicinal formulae including Cornu Bubali，Radix Rehmanniae et al. five herbs was screened.The cure rate was 75% and the effective rate was 90%. The results showed mouse could be used to construct a model infected by Listeria monocytogenes and the Chinese medicinal formulae had a well effect to this bacteriosis.

  Effect of Glycyrrhizin on Experimental Mastitis by Staphylococcus aureus in Mice Liu Ping, Hao Manliang,Hou Xicheng,Ye Baona,Xie Fei 2007, 23 (7):  70-70.  Abstract + ( 1479 )   【Objective】To study the restraining effect of Glycyrrhizin(GL),a Chinese medicine,on Staphylococcus aureus-induced mastitis in mice. 【Method】Thirty pregnant BALB/C mice randomly divided into nomal control group(Con,n=10)、positive control group(P,n=10) and treatment group (T,n=10). Either sterile physiological saline solution(PSS) or 50μl 7.0×102CFU Staphylococcus aureus was inoculated into the fourth abdominal mammary gland via the teatduct 8-10d after parturition. Either 88mg/kg Glycyrrhizin or PSS 0.2ml was injected into abdominal cavity after inoculated -12h、0h、12h、36h. Exactly 66 h after inoculation,the mice were euthanatized and the mammary glands were removed and fixed for histopathologic evaluations. 【Results】Histopathologic examination of mammary gland revealed that the mammary glands of positive control group had more severe pathologic lesion than those of the treatment group. There was significant increase (p＜0.01) of the interstitial width in mammary gland of positive group and treatment group compared with those of nomal control group,but decreased (p＜0.01) of the interstitial width in mammary gland of treatment group compared with positive control group.Compared with nomal control group, Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α)、Interleukin-γ (IFN-γ) concentration increased remarkably in mammary gland of the positive control group. There was significant decrease (p＜0.01) of TNF-α and IFN-γ concentration in mammary gland of treatment group compared with those of positive control group. 【Conclusion】 The results demonstrate that Colony For Units(CFU)、tissue scathe、inflammation and body reactions were mitigated and mammary gland was protected by Glycyrrhizin.

  Optimization of Phenol-Sulfuric Acid Determination Conditions of Polysaccharide in Polyporus Umbellatus by Orthogonal Test Tian Guangwen, Cheng Deyu, Li xuejun, Shu zhiming 2007, 23 (7):  75-75.  Abstract + ( 1875 )   【Objective】To establish rapid quantitative analysis method for polysaccharide in Polyporus umbellatus.【Method】Taking phenol - sulfuric acid method to content of glucose as parameters. The absorbance is measured at 490 nm. L9 (34) Orthogonal Design optimum determine conditions. 【Results】when the sample solution used 1.0ml, 0.8 ml of 5% solution of phenol, and sulfuric acid 5.0ml, 100 ° C water bath for 15 min reaction conditions determination, the results is best. Also sulfuric acid increment to result influence biggest, the water bath temperature is next, the phenol quantity influence is smallest. The glucose had good linear relationship in 5.0～40.0μg/ml. RSD=1.58% precision (n = 6), measured 3h good stability. The average of recovery was 99.22%, RSD=1.87% (n = 3). The content of polysaccharide in Polyporus umbellatus was measured 3.46%, RSD=2.07% (n = 4). 【Conclusion】This optimization method is highly sensitive, simple, stable data, accurate, good reproducibility and worth promoting.

  Establishment of Improved CTAB-LiCl Optimum System on Isolating Total RNA of Chinese Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) Song Bei, Zhao Jin, Liu Mengjun, Xue Yufeng 2007, 23 (7):  79-79.  Abstract + ( 1877 )   In this paper, the branches of Chinese jujube and its plantlets were used as test materials to establish the optimum system of isolating total RNA. Because Chinese jujube are rich in polysaccharides and polyphenol compounds, the CTAB method were improved by added polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and β-ME to remove polyphenol compounds, added KAc and ethanol to remove polysaccharides and added LiCl to deposit RNA. The bands of the isolated RNA were regular and clear. The A260/A280 of total RNA were between 1.8~2.0 and A260/A230 were more than 2.0. That proved the method could extract high-purity and highly-complete RNA at a high productivity and could remove protein, polysaccharides and polyphenol compounds completely. The result showed that the improved CTAB-LiCl method is suitable to isolate total RNA of Chinese jujube.

  The primary Function Analysis of the Cotton Auxin Response Factor Zhang feng, Cui Baiming 2007, 23 (7):  84-84.  Abstract + ( 1287 )   Auxin response factors (ARFs), a family of transcription factors, have been discovered recently. It plays an important roles in auxin signal transduction pathway. We have successfully got the whole sequence of cotton ARF3 through RT-PCR, and transferred it to the plant expression vector,pCAMBIA1301.By Vacuum infiltration technology ,the plant expression vector has been transmitted into Arabidoposis thaliana. We have got planty of transgentic plants. The PCR detection proves the sequnece has successfully recombined with the genome of Arabidoposis thaliana.We also prove its expression by the method of RT-PCR.

  Sequence Analysis of the 3' Terminal Region of the Genome of Lettuce mosaic virus Beijing Isolate Shang Qiaoxia,, Xiang Haiying, Han Chenggui, Li Dawei, Yu Jialin 2007, 23 (7):  88-88.  Abstract + ( 1481 )   The 3′ terminal genomic 1620 nucleotides of the Lettuce mosaic virus Beijing isolate (LMV-BJ) from China was determined (the GenBank accession number is EF423619). The sequence started within a single open reading frame which was expected to encode a part of the C-terminus of the NIb protein of 190 amino acids by 574 nucleotides, complete capsid protein (CP) of 277 amino acids encoded by 834 nucleotides and followed by a 3′ untranslated region (UTR) of 209 nucleotides. The nucleotide and amino acid sequence identity of 3′ terminal regions and cp gene among LMV-BJ and other five previously reported isolates from France O(X97704), France E(X97705), USA(X65652), Brazil(AJ278854), Yuhang(AJ306288)were compared.

  Research of White muscardine Silkworm’s highly Performance Capillary Electrophoresis Chromatographic Fingerprint Zhang Jun, Mu Li, Liu ChaoLiang, Lu Cuizhen 2007, 23 (7):  91-91.  Abstract + ( 1460 )   【OBJECTIVE】To establish a method for HPCE finger printing determination of white muscardine silkworm. 【METHOD】Electrophoretic conditions were as follows: an applied voltage of 20kV, at 25℃, detected at a wavelength 201nm. 【RESULTS】The main components in white muscardine silkworm are successfully separated. The observation of methodology was in keeping with quantitative determination and qualitative study. 【CONCLUSION】This method can be used for the quality control of the preparation of white muscardine silkworm with good precision.

  Cloning and expression analysis of the Cytosolic NADP-malic Enzyme Gene of Apple Fruit Li Ming , Yao YuXin,Liu Zhi and Zhai Heng 2007, 23 (7):  95-95.  Abstract + ( 1656 )   【Objective】The purpose of this study is to isolate a fruit-related gene encoding cytosolic NADP-dependent malic enzyme and reveal the correlation between transcription and malic acid content of fruits.【Method】A full-length cDNA was cloned by RT-PCR and RACE (Rapid Amplification of cDNA Ends) from apple fruits, and its expression was studied by Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis，The recombinant prokaryotic expression vector pET30a-ME was constructed and expressed in E.coli BL21.【Result】A fruit-related gene encoding cytosolic NADP-dependent malic enzyme was cloned for the frist time and designated as Mal-ME (GeneBank accession No. DQ280492). The recombinant prokaryotic expression vector pET30a-ME expressed a 66kD fusion protein in E.coli BL21. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis showed that its transcription had negative correlation with malic acid content of fruits at different developmental stages.【Conclusion】cytosolic NADP-dependent malic enzyme gene was successfully isolated from apple fruits. This gene can regulate the accumulation of malic acid in fruits negatively during the development.

As following Soybean breeding researched deeply, and breed of absent flavor of tofu and soymilk selled widely, and soybean production industry advanced prosperously, it is about to improve identification test in soybean lipoxygenase increasingly. In this paper, biologic and genetic characteristics about soybean lipoxygenase, the advantages and disadvangtages, sensitivity and applicability of identification test are summarized. The logical strategy, based on the current development status, would be the best economical and accurate method employed in considering large-scale detection in order to breeding. the problem and application perspective of Analysis and detection methods for Soybean Lipoxygenase are also discussed in breeding selection early and seed identification in industry.

  Cloning and Transformation and Expression of Potato leafroll virus coat protein gene in Potato Nan Xiangri, Liu Wenping, Liu Qi, Xia Shanyong 2007, 23 (7):  106-106.  Abstract + ( 1682 )   PDF ( 170346KB )   ( 703 ) A pair of specific primer had been designed according to full length sequence of Potato leafroll virus coat protein gene (PLRV-CP) in the GenBank. Potato leafroll virus coat protein gene (PLRV-CP) had been cloned with the RNA of Potato leafroll virus as moplate, and plant expression vector had been constructed. PLRV-CP gene had been transformed to protoplate of the potato variety Daxiyang by the method of PLO (Poly-L-Ornithine) and transgenic plants. About 610bp interest DNA fragment had been amplification in 5 transgenic plants. This showed that exogenous PLRV-CP had been integrated to the genomy of potato. And the result of the Southern blot proved the correct of the PCR and the result of the RT-PCR further demonsticated that: there are positive expression in the 3 progenies of transgenic plants. And the potato leafroll virus inoculation experiment show that transgenic plants Resistant to the potato leafroll compared with control plants.

Shoots collected from grafted tree (7yrs)of pistachio were used as explant in primary culture with different treatments of medium(MS, modified MS,Q-L,DKW), plant hormone(BA,IBA,NAA,GA), disinfectant(7%NaClO3, 0.1%mercuric chloride), addition(folic acid, calcium D-pantothenate and LH), glucose and sucrose, experiment results shown that explant of pistachio were disinfected well with 0.1% mercuric chloride for 10min, the suitable primary medium for pistachio was: 1/2DKW+6-0.5mg/l 6-BA +0.5mg/l IBA +3.0 mg/l GA3 +1mg/l folic acid+ 300mg/l LH +1mg/l calcium D-pantothenate+15g/l glucose+6.5g/l agar.

  An Analysis of Celery Genetic Diversity by AFLP Ju Jianfeng 2007, 23 (7):  120-120.  Abstract + ( 1348 )   PDF ( 143136KB )   ( 658 ) To assess the interspecific relationships in China of celery(Apium gra-veolens L.). The genetic diversity of 24 celery accessions resources were analyzed by AFLP. Results showed that 245(59.88%) polymorphic sites were detected among the total 395 sites amplified by 8 screened selective primers (among 81 primers). The AFLP-based genetic similarity ranged from 0.385 to 0.987, UPGMA cluster analysis showed that the tested materials could be divided into ternary groups at the level of genetic similarity 0.600, At present, the relationship of the cultivated varieties are very closely in celery, The clusters were greatly associated with the origins and the morphologic characters of the tested germ plasm. Dendrogram obtained using molecular markers is homologous with separated morphologic character in some degree.

A study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of reducing the hydrogen cyanide (HCN) content of flaxseed by three processing methods. Flaxseed was processed by solvent extracting, microwave roasting and water boiling. The effectiveness in reducing HCN in flaxseed by these processes was monitored through HCN measurements by titration method. The results indicted the following.The HCN content was 157.68mg/kg in raw flaxseed. Microwave roasting of flaxseed reduced the HCN content by 95.57%; solvent extracting once reduced HCN content by 52%, twice by 80%, and thrice by 89%, and the water boiling reduced by 88.12％。Among these the microwave roasting method is the most effective method in removal of HCN; the solvent extracting method is easier to realize an industrialized production, the autoclaving and water boiling methods can be used only under special circumstance.

The results shows that storage temperature significantly influences weightlessness rate, rottening rate, and stachyose contents. Lower temperature leads to lower weightlessness rate, rottening rate, and Stachyose contents lose. Storage humidity also has significant influence to weightlessness and rottening rate. Weightlessness rate decreases and rottening rate increases as storage humidity increases. Within the range of the temperatures tested, 70 to 80 percent humidity is suitable for the storage of, at 4℃, 4 months on 8℃, or 2 months at 12℃.

Which the rate of kanamycin resistance plantlet was the measure index. The results laid a sound foundation for breeding new resistant species of P. tomentosa 85 gene transformation by means of leaf disc method.

Finally, we had the preliminary understanding to the public’s attitude about city forest construction on various aspects and also provided the sugguestion for policy-makers and researchers related to the city forest construction.

The result shows that the rate of polyploidy induction can reach at 92.7% under the condition of 25℃, darkness, 72 hours later and soaked in 0.3% concentration of colchicine solution directly, which provides a base on future studies in polyploidy breeding of Platycladus orientalis.

The results showed that the thickness of leaf, palisade tissue, spongy tissue and upper epidermis, ratios of tissue, thickness of palisade tissue /leaf thickness, and the width of palisade tissue had significantly negative correlation with planting density. The rate of descending in average thickness of leaf, upper epidermis and under epidermis, and the width of palisade tissue increased in the planting density from 15000~18000/hm2 to 18000~21000/hm2. While the rate of descending in average thickness of palisade tissue and spongy tissue, ratios of tissue, and thickness of palisade tissue /leaf thickness descended. But this had significantly positive correlation with rate of N application. The rate of rising in average thickness of leaf, spongy tissue and under epidermis increased at rate of N application from 240~300kg/hm2 to 300~360kg/hm2. While the rate of rising in average thickness of palisade tissue and upper epidermis, ratios of tissue, thickness of palisade tissue /leaf thickness, and the width of palisade tissue descended The effect on the thickness of leaf, under epidermis spongy tissue and upper epidermis, ratios of tissue, and the width of palisade tissue in planting density was higher than rate of N application, but the thickness of spongy tissue was lower. The thickness of palisade tissue /leaf thickness was same. With this result, the planting density of 18000~19500/hm2 and rate of N application from 270~300kg/hm2 was feasible in burley tobacco.

The results showed that: (1) the plant height of 97-6-4 and 97-7-11 were higher than CK(K326), the node length of 97-6-4 were biggest in all varieties, the average leaf number of 6 varieties were less than that of CK(K326), the single leaf weight of 6 varieties were higher than CK(K326) besides HY-9-7 and HT06, the growing stage of all varieties had no significant different, which were middle maturing variety, between 116 d and 121 d. (2) The disease index against TMV of 6 varieties were lower than CK(K326), the disease index against the Granville wilt of 97-6-4 were lowest in 7 varieties, the disease index against Black shank disease of HT06 were lowest in 7 varieties, the disease index against Climate spot of CK(K326) were higher than that of 6 varieties. (3) The maximum yield and value were observed at variety CY9506. HT06 had the highest proportions of top and middle class tobacco leaves. (4) CY9506 and 97-7-11 possessed the best outward appearance quality and inherent quality. Based on the yields and qualities, CY9506 and 97-7-11 should be recommended for further demonstration at Liuyang.

Then drought resistance of hexaploid triticale at grain filling stage were analyzed by fuzzy subordinate function analysis and drought-resistance coefficients. Finally, the relationship between each morphological index and drought resistance were studied using grey correlative degree analysis. The results showed as follows: (1) The plant height, ear length, spike numbers, grains main stem spike, seed weight per plant, thousand seed weight of each variety were decreased or shorted when compared with control, and differences among triticale varieties were significant or very significant. (2) Variety “Tornado” was high resistant to drought at grain filling stage and would used as a good germplasm in wheat breeding. Yu Chengyu, Li Wei, Chang Jianjun, Hu Shengwu 2007, 23 (7):  245-245.  Abstract + ( 1266 )   PDF ( 258438KB )   ( 594 ) Exploitation and development new thermo and /or photoperiod sensitive male sterile materials will promote the theoretical research on the development of male gametophyte and give more approach for utility of the heterosis of rapeseed. In the present paper, the development and primary characterization of a new thermo-sensitive male-sterile line 373S in Brassica napus L. was reported. A chimerically male sterile rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) was found in the open-pollinated family from a spontaneous male sterile population. After successive selfing from this chimerically male sterile plant, an environment-sensitive male-sterile line 373S was bred. The influence of ecological factors on the male fertility was analyzed based on the data from cultivation experiment conducted in field and under controlled conditions. Atmospheric temperature 2-9 days prior to blooming had a predominate effect on the male fertility but the effect of daylength on it was not notable. The sensitive stage was further narrowed at the time when the bud was 2-3mm long (meiotic to uni-nucleic stage of microspore development). Therefore, 373S was characterized as a thermo-sensitive male sterile line and would become male sterile at higher temperature but render fertile at lower temperature. The F1 generations of the crosses of 373S with various varieties was observed to be 100% male fertile, and in the F2 generations, 7.1-14.6% plants was thermo-sensitive male sterile. The accurately characterization of the reaction to ecological factors, improvement of the agronomic traits and quality of 373S, search of the suitable region for hybrid production was under way.

The bred rate of the purple lines increased 7%~14% and 30.4%~62.2%.The good materials were bred which were parents of sweet potato such as Yan 164、80、194, lines as Yanzishu 653、176、323and posterities as Yanzishu 18、20.The good new variety of Yanzishu 337 was bred by this way too. The examination proved that the yield descendiblity of purple sweet potato progeny was controled by the additive gene and the descendiblity in the purple line bred rate was cortroled in part by the additive gene.

The pollen will die of if the temperature is beyond 25℃. 2. Choosing the best female parent and the best period to pollinate and inseminate. Wikstroemia F4 was used as the female parent. First, they were mantled after they had been treated for 3-4 minutes by heat water of 45℃-46℃ at 5 a..m and kill the male pollen of rice. Then the pollen of the green bamboo was supposed to be collected to pollinate the maternal plant twice or three times. Then, mantle them immediately. 3. It was found that there were no significant changes in the relative growth rate, the content of soluble protein and the activities of antioxidant enzymes by the pretreatment of EGTA of 1-3 mmol/L in sugarcane seedlings under normal condition. But the relative growth rate and the content of soluble protein were both decreased by the pretreatment of EGTA of 1-3 mmol/L under water stress: after treating of 24h, the content of soluble protein in seedlings under treatments of 1E+D (1mmol/L EGTA+30%PEG) and 3E+D (3mmol/L EGTA+30%PEG) were decreased by 40.2% and 54.3% respectively compared to that in seedlings under treatment of 30%PEG. In addition, the pretreatment of EGTA inhibited the PEG-induced increases in activities of superroxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD), and aggravated the PEG-induced decrease in the activity of catalase (CAT). It demonstrated that Ca2+ was involved in regulating the activities of antioxidant enzymes under water stress and there might be a crosstalk between signal transduction pathways mediated by Ca2+ and reactive oxygen species (ROS).

It provides a much wider selection of target materials. The aim of this study was to optimize parameters for this equipment to transiently express of gene constructs in intact wheat leaves. In order to investigate the efficacy of transient gene delivery, we used constructs containing green fluorescent protein gene that were driven by the constitutively active 35S promoter of the CaMV 35S gene, with as a reporter. Parameters optimized included helium pressure, the size of gold particles, the concentration of PVP, DNA amount and the amount of gold per shot. We found that optimal amount of plasmid DNA plays a key role in the efficiency of transient expression. The possible measures to improve the consistency and the reliability of transient gene expression were presented.

Recent research in salt signal transduction pathway using Arabidopsis have made great process in understanding the genetic basis of plant tolerance to salinity. However, the study on plant response and the molecular mechanisms to alkali lags far behind. In this paper, we analyzed the effects of high pH on Arabidopsis during seed germination and seedling development, especially root elongation. The results showed that mild alkali stress (pH 6.0~6.5) promoted plant growth, while severe high pH inhibited both seed germination, photosynthesis and root elongation. Auxin content markedly decreased at high pH, suggesting an important role of auxin in plant response to alkali stress.

Ait) seedlings under cold stress. 【METHOD】SA of different concentrations were sprayed to jasmine leaves and changes of survival percentage, reactive oxygen species, antioxidant enzyme and cell membrane of Single petal jasmine and Double petal jasmine under cold stress were observed. 【RESULTS】Pretreatment with SA, jasmine seedlings’ survival percentage under cold stress was increased effectively, relative conductivity, generating rate of O2-, content of H2O2 and MDA was decreased significantly, furthermore activity of superoxiede dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) and catalse (CAT) was increased significantly. 【CONCLUSION】The best effect concentration of SA pretreatment to enhance cold tolerance of Single petal jasmine and Double petal jasmine was 1.25mmol/L and 0.75mmol/L respectively.

The results show that when essterase isoenzyme analysis was done using a single grain of seed the enzyme spectrum was distinct, repetition was good .The zymograms of 1 and 4 or 2 and 3 were similar, suggesting that they may be the same sample. 1 appeared closely related to 2 genetically , they may be different types that it have the certain pedigree relationships. Based on a comparison of the botanical characteristics of the two species, a discussion is made of their application of corn Hybrids and it can be concluded that it is practical to use esterase isoenzyme for identifying the truth and pedigree relationship of corn inbreds. The method has the merits of fastness and accuracy.

Several factors and various regulating methods of the accumulation of ginkgolides and bilobalides were summarized. The research show that chlorocholine chloride and ethylene were sprayed can reduced the synthesition of endogenesis hormone by feedback to increase the accumulation of pre-ginkgolides. Gibberellin have a inhibition mechanism same with chlorocholine chloride and ethylene, and regulating to the accumulation of the RNA of gibbere20- oxidase and gibberellin3β-hydroxylase by feedback inhibit. Furthermore, other regulating methods such as 2,3-epoxysqualene cyclase was inhibited by 2,3-epoxysqualene in order to hold up sterol synthesize pathway so that the IPP of MVA pathway can take party in lactone sythesize were introduced in this report.

The content of nucleic acids of the floral buds of the different ploids in apples were compared. During the differentiation processes dynamic changes of nucleic acid of the floral buds of the ployploids in apples were almost the same as that of diploid. But at the same differentiational stage, the contents of DNA、RNA and the total nucleic acids were obviously improved in the foral buds of polyploids of apples. Compared with the diploid, the numerical value of RNA/DNA of floral buds of triploid was increased, but the extent of increasement was very small, whereas the numerical value of RNA/DNA of floral buds of tetraploid was decreased obviously.

Results showed that after treatment of chilling temperature and high light, as comparison with its parents, the decrease of net photosynthetic rate, PSⅡprimary photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) and photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) and the increase of nonphotochemical quenching coefficient (qN) in super-hybrid rice Liangyoupeijiu were less, which suggested that more light energy absorbed by “Liang you pei jiu” was converted into chemical energy under chilling temperature and high light. Results demonstrated that under chilling temperature and high light super-hybrid rice “Liang you pei jiu” surpassed its parents and adopted from its female parent.

Seedlings of control and NaCl treatment were daily sprayed with distilled water + 0.02% (V/V) Tween-80 and irrigated with half-strength Hoagland’s nutrient solution, and Seedlings of Spd pretreatment were daily sprayed with 0.5 mmol/L Spd + 0.02 % (V/V) Tween-80 and irrigated with 0.5 mmol/L Spd + half-strength Hoagland’s nutrient solution for 2 days before NaCl stress. Under 200mmol/L NaCl induced stress, RWC, levels of chloroplast pigment and soluble protein in leaves of hulless barley seedlings obviously decreased, and preliminary supply of Spd could distinctly alleviate their decline. These results suggested that using of exogenous spermidine could obviously alleviate the injury of NaCl stress, and have protective effects on delaying senescence and resisting NaCl stress of hulless barley seedlings.

  The Effection of the Chamaecrista.rotundifolia on the Growth of the Fruit Trees and Ecology of the Red Soil Region in Mountainous Orchards Liu Tao 2007, 23 (7):  322-322.  Abstract + ( 1306 )   PDF ( 486340KB )   ( 753 ) The effection of the Chamaecrista.rotundifolia on the growth of the fruit trees and ecology of the red soil region in mountainous orchards was studied in this paper. The results showed that there was a decrease of 1~5℃ in the ground temperature, an increase of 3.79%~5.98% in soil moisture content and the increases of 293% and 213% for available phosphorus and kalium between the grass planting and clean culture in different soil layer during the high temperature season. The contents of bacterium and nitrogen fixing bacterium increased as 64 and 57 times and there were increases of 6.9% and 1.8% for the fruit yield and per fruit weight. The contents of total soluble solids and cane sugar increased as 3.3% and 11.5%, but there was a decrease of 8.4% in the total acid. Compared to the clean culture, there were decreases for the runoff coefficient and average runoff amount.

The aroma components with higher relative contents include 2-Hexenal; Cyclopentanol, 2-methyl-, trans-; 4-(2,6,6-Trimethyl-cyclohex-1-enyl)-butan-2-ol; Hexanal;2,4-Hexadienal, (E,E)-; 3-Hexen-1-ol, (E)-; etc. The total aroma contents from Chaenomeles Sinensis stored one month is higher and the C6 compounds are the main compounds of Chaenomeles Sinensis.

The rule of effects of nitrogenous，phosphorus and potassium fertilizer on the oil content in soybean was discussed by this model. 【RESULTS】The mon-factorial and interaction effects of nitrogenous，phosphorus and potassium fertilizer on the oil content were affected by other factors. Nitrogen fertilizer has produced positive effect on oil content，whereas phosphor and potassium fertilizer has produced positive and negative effects to oil content. Fertilizing measure to get oil contents over 23 % for Dongnong46 with 95% possibility were N 0.068~0.117 g/kg，P2O5 0.274~0.536 g/kg and K2O 0.060~0.109 g/kg. 【CONCLUSION】Oil content in high-oil soybean variety can be regulated by different utilization amount and ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

  Influence of Nitrogen Application on Yield and Water Effect in Wheat/Maize Intercropping System Sun Jianhao,, Li Long, Zhang Fusuo, Ma Zhongming 2007, 23 (7):  345-345.  Abstract + ( 1422 )   PDF ( 162629KB )   ( 726 ) 【OBJECTIVE】The paper mainly illuminated the modulation effect of nitrogen fertilizer on water resource in wheat/maize intercropping system【METHOD】Influence of different nitrogen fertilizer application on water effect in wheat/maize intercropping system was studied;【RESULTS】Intercropping of wheat/maize LER was 1.31~1.53, Wheat CRmm comparing to maize（CRwm）above 1，When wheat was harvested, water use efficiency of intercropping wheat and maize was 39.0~46.7kg/mm.hm2 and 1.28~4.81 kg/mm.hm2 , respectively. Water use efficiency of intercropping wheat was higher than intercropping maize and monocropping wheat (25.43~30.75 kg/mm.hm2). After wheat was harvested, water use efficiency of intercropping maize (except N0 treatment) was increased quickly and it was 32.49-47.46 kg/mm.hm2 when maize was harvested, obviously higher than monocropping maize (27.30~38.77 kg/mm.hm2)【CONCLUSION】The results showed that wheat/maize intercropping system had obvious intercropping yield advantage; it was found that different distribution of water use efficiency of wheat and maize was the base of high water use efficiency in wheat/maize intercropping system, reasonable nitrogen application can facilitate advantage of yield and water use efficiency.

The field experiment was carried out to study the effect of nitrogen application on grain yield of winter wheat, efficiency of nitrogen and NO3--N accumulation in soil at Wuqiao Experimental Station of China Agricultural University. A randomized complete block design was used with three replications with the cultivar Jinan17 in two irrigation modes. There were four nitrogen rates(0、157.5kg/hm2、226.5kg/hm2、295.5kg/hm2) and two methods(basal nitrogen application and split nitrogen application) within seven treatments. The results showed that the grain yield of winter wheat with two-irrigation was higher than that with one-irrigation with the same nitrogen application rate and method. Compared to one-irrigation，the grain number per spike in two-irrigation was higher，the 1000-grain weight was lower, the water wastage was higher, but the WUE was lower. The yield was not affected significantly by nitrogen rates and the methods. Within the nitrogen rate of 157.5-295.5kg/hm2， the lower NUPE and Nitrogen Productivity declined with nitrogen rate increasing. NHI was not lower than the others at the lowest nitrogen rate of 157.5kg/hm2. The accumulation of NO3--N in soil was significantly and positively correlated with the nitrogen application rate. NO3--N in one-irrigation was distributed mainly in the top layer (0-80cm), but it was inverse in two-irrigation. It was concluded that it is the most reasonable cultivation mode in water-limited area to apply one-irrigation，nitrogen application rate of 157.5kg/hm2 as basal fertilizer，which not only increased the nitrogen and water utilization efficiency，but also deceased the leach and the accumulation of NO3--N in soil.

Results showed that the yields of pakchoi were markedly increased as chelated fertilizer was applied with irrigation. At the same time the dosage of fertilizer application was greatly decreased and the using efficiency of fertilizer was greatly elevated. However, when the concentration of the solution of irrigation was too low, the yields of pakchoi were reduced because of the shortage of fertilizer. The quality of crop could be improved when chelated fertilizer was supplied with irrigation. Compared to common fertilizer, the vitamin C content in the leaf of pakchoi was increased and nitrate content had the highest decreasing amplitude of 51.3% when the chelated fertilizer was applied at the rate of 800mg/kg with irrigation.

Results of 2 years illustrated that yield-increasing effect of the SRF1 was significantly superior to other treatments, averaging in 15.6% higher yield over the treatment of normal splitting fertilization (NSF) under the same NPK rates. In addition, the SRF1 trended to improve quality of wax gourd through relatively increasing dry matter rate and concentrations of vitamin C and soluble sugar. In comparison to farmers’ NSF, the SRF1 resulted in significantly hiher yields in 2 of 3 demonstrations, with yield increase by 7.61% in average, meanwhile, reduced NPK application rates respectively by 6.73%, 71.1%, 46.0%, and fertilization cost by 40.0%.

SOC was also affected by the change of land use such as forestry to farmland or grassland and grassland to farmland, and zero tillage can improve soil carbon sequestration. Measures that can control erosion and reduce the loss of soil carbon were put forward.

The results showed that: (1) The dry matter accumulation of tobacco seedlings were improved when the nitrogen concentration was increased from 50 to 450 mg/kg in float system, while that of the seedlings treated with 550 mg/kg was decreased; (2) Nitrogen concentration in float system had great influence on root activity. Root activity of the seedlings treated with 150 or 250 mg/kg were higher than others；(3) Proline content in tobacco seedlings was decreased at the time for transplanting when the nitrogen concentration was increased in float system; (4) The activity of peroxidase, catalase and polyphenoloxidase were observed highest in plants at 30 days after transplanting which were nursed in float system with nitrogen concentration at 150 mg/kg, while those of tobacco seedlings treated with more nitrogen in nutrition solution deceased. And it was reverse for the content of protein. In a word, it could be considered that the ability of resistance of HD plant should be better if the seedlings were nursed in float system with nitrogen concentration at 150 to 250mg/kg.

The results showed that using the seedling strengthen agent inoculated by 5406 actinomycetes and P77 phosphate dissolving bacteria significantly improved the NPK contents and absorption of rice seeding shoot , and also increased the NK contents and absorption of the seedling root, but decreased the contents and absorption of the seedling root. The study showed that P4 treatment had the best effects (inoculated by P77 with the concentration of 5×107cfu/g), and the second one was P2 treatment (inoculated by 5406 actinomycetes with the concentration of 5×107cfu/g). So P77 inoculated in the seedling strengthen agent had better effects than 5406 actinomycetes, and the concentration of 5×107cfu/g was more effective.

The results indicated that the scale forests of poplar tree have the obvious temperature decrease and the humidity increase effect to its peripheral environment. The effect of ecological field is the highest at noon, and the influence of peripheral atmosphere temperature and humidity affected by poplar forest is retrograded to the convention in the afternoon.

The change of fruit anatomical structure shows cell of exocarp, sarcocarp and endocarp division and enlargement. Besides gene limit, fruit cell division and enlargement were limited by hormone, nutrition, temperature, light, water and so on. Fruit size was regulated by cultivation measure and plant growth regulators. Cytology research of fruit growth could provide with the theory basis of production of good fruits quality. Precisely using nutrition and plant growth regulators will be become the main direction of research in the future.

With the development of our society and rising of living standard, there is an increasing concern about the nutritive and safety quality of vegetables for researchers, producers and consumers. Lettuce with rich nutrients is broadly cultivated around the whole years in both north and south of China. In order to select best slow release fertilizer for high yield and good quality of lettuce, a pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of different slow release fertilizer (SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4) on the yield and quality of lettuce. There was significant difference between the yield of lettuce. The yield of lettuce is the lowest in SR3 treatment and is increased by 9.1%~12.7% compared with SR3 treatment, and the yield was in the order of SR4＞SR2＞SR1. The content of chla of lettuce was higher than that of chl b and the content of chla was in the order of SR3>SR2>SR4>SR1, but the content of Chlb and Chl (a+b) was SR3>SR2>SR1>SR4, and Chl (a/b) was SR4>SR3>SR2>SR1. The content of nitrate, soluble sugar and amino acids were in the order of SR1>SR2>SR3>SR4, the effect of different slow release fertilizer on the vitamin C of lettuce is not significant. Taking yield and quality into consideration, the optimum slow release fertilizer is SR2.

  Studies on the Mechanism of Initial Fruit Set in Younai (Prunus salicina Lindl var.) The results showed that, large amount of flower/fruitlet drop occurred within 2 weeks after full blossom; low content of GA1+3 was closely correlated to the peak of fruit drop, however, the contents of endogenous zeatin ribosides (ZRs), dihydrozeatin ribosides ([diH]ZRs) and abscisic acid (ABA) were significantly positive correlated to the growth of fruitlet (ovary); during the initial fruit set of Younai, quite a few of female gametophytes degenerated or aborted, and, the developmental process was slow after anthesis, which therefore, blocked fertilization and resulted in flower/fruitlet abscission. The mechanism of initial fruit set in Younai was discussed in this paper.

The results showed that: The appropriate growth temperature range of mycelia growth is from 22 ° C to 30 ° C, the optimal temperature is 25 ° C; the appropriate pH vale range is from 5.0 to 8.0, the optimal pH vale is 7.5; the optimal carbon source is sugar; the optimal nitrogen source is peptone; adequate oxygen is conducive to mycelial growth.

In Pingdu greenhouse, cherry plants were sprayed to drip with 1.5% and 2.5% of hydrogen cyanamide on 24 Dec. 2003. In Taian greenhouse and field, cherry plants were sprayed with the same concentration on 12 Jan. and 10 Feb. 2004 respectively. For all experiments, plants were dormant and leafless at the time of spray applications. The results showed that hydrogen cyanamide effectively induced vegetative budbreak and flowering. In Pingdu, hydrogen cyanamide sprays advanced budbreak, flowering and fruit harvast time by 13, 8 and 7 days, but decreased mean fruit fresh weight compared to untreated. In Taian, hydrogen cyanamide advanced budbreak by 7 days, but fruit ripening no marked difference with control. The effects of hydrogen cyanamide on sweet cherry had relation to the treating time.

The results indicated that the effects of the brightness、saturation on the earlier bagging time、strong light penetration bag were better than the weak light penetration or later bagging time treatment. The average ratio of a/ b on the 4,Oct was better than on the 14,Jul and the 30, Aug, but three ratios of a/b were lower than the control treatment(0.53),so the color in the zaoxiang mandarin fruit was close to native color : orange-yellow color. The tone-angle on the earlier bagging time was lower than the later bagging time, but three tone-angles were bigger than the control treatment (-10.23). The significant negative coefficient of the ratio of a/b to the tone-angle is -0.9586** by correlation analysis; The different effects on the color and luster in zaoxiang mandarin fruit would change as a result of different bagging times and kinds paper bags.

The content of polysaccharide,reducing sugar,protein and amino acid were determined.The results showed that the size of crush granule, strain, time, temperature and inoculum size had significant effect on the content of polysaccharide,reducing sugar,protein and amino acid. The optimum fermentation conditions were 10 mesh granularity, 12% inoculum size, 28℃ fermentation temperature, 20d fermentation time. The content of polysaccharide was 21.97 mg/g under the optimized cultivation.

The result showed that small melon male parent flower of naked kernel pumpkin flowering normally after experienced 4-9 day for sterilemale flower，which is its physiology hereditary feature. Density has effect on the degree of sterilemale flower for small melon male parent，the higher the density was，the longer the sterilemale flower was and the more the invalid male flower of individual plant. The sterilemale flower experienced 11d under the 25cm×90cm density，and more 1d and 2d than 35cm×90cm and 40cm×90cm respectively. Average sterilemale flower of individual plant was 8.7 under the 25cm plant spacing，more 1.3 and 2.2 than 35cm and 40cm. It is the optimum density under the 40cm×90cm. From the sow seeds to the valid male flowering, the higher the temperature was，the shorter the invalid male flowering. Under the lower temperature, sterilemale flower quantity of individual plant was increased, and the time of sterilemale flowering was prolonged. The male parent sterilemale flower of small melon for naked kernel pumpkin was influenced by physiological and genetic background，density and temperature before male flowering.

The stems of one year seeding were cut with different height at different stage. The results revealed that the yield of Toona sinensis Roem sprout increased 17.64% and 28.20% when the stems were cut at the middle of July than they were cut at the middle of August and September respectively. The yield of Toona sinensis Roem sprout increased 11.24% and 17.78% when the stems were cut with the height of 40cm than that they were cut with the height of 20cm and 60cm respectively. The highest yield of the treatment was the stems were cut with the height of 40cm in the middle of July, which came to 1.50kg/m2.

The result indicated that the plot has used by chlorsulfuron last year, When maize will be seeded next year, the injure may be reduced by soaking seed, blending seed, mixed spraying and spraying leaf, etc. with 3- dichloracetyl - 2,5- dimethyl - 2- ethyl - 1,3- oxazolidine. The effect of mixed spraying is best among them, its yield increased 99.41% than that of CK, and the method of soaking seed is next to mixed spraying, for 95.65% of the comparison. The corn may be planted after using chlorsulfuron in soil when the residual quantity of chlorsulfuron less than 5μg/kg by using herbicide antidote.

The needle puncture, leaf brushing and slide attachment were used to determine the invasion and spreading ways. We detced the infection ability of Alternaria obpyriformis T.Y Zhang on 10 plant under the condation of artificial inoculation. Fungicide screen assays in lab were performed by detecting the spore germination and the mycelium growth rate. The results showed that Alternaria obpyriformis T.Y Zhang could live through the winter on plant debris with the mycelium and the pycnidiospore. The pathogen could invade host by air hole and wound. The pycnidiospore could spread through airflow. Alternaria obpyriformis T.Y Zhang could infect some leguminous plants and crucifer by artificial inoculation. Seven fungicides could obviously inhibit the mycelium growth and spore germination of Alternaria obpyriformis T.Y Zhang, while prochloraz proved to be the most effective fungicide with the inhibition rate of 84.24% and followed by those of iprodone with the inhibition rate of 67.44%

The correlations of different aggregate indices value with mean densities were evaluated. The k value of negative binomial distribution which was shown to be poorly correlated with densities was chosen to describe the temporal dynamics of Bemisia tabaci adult population. The results showed obvious difference was found in the intensity of aggregation of its adult population during the life span of the cucumber growth. The population on horizontal spatial changed from loosely to highly aggregated, and then to loosely, to highly aggregated again. The highest number of its adult population inhabiting on hundred cucumber plants was 23359 and the lowest was 1908. The population on vertical spatial changed from highly aggregated to loosely aggregated, and then to highly, to loosely aggregated. The largest number of B. tabaci adult individuals harbored on hundred plants was on the eighth leaf, which was 9093, and the second number was on the ninth and the seventh leaf, which were 8488 and 8353 respectively. Throughout the incidence of stage B. tabaci inhabiting on cucumbers, the spatial pattern of its population aggregated and diffused alternatively. Based on the study the spatial distribution pattern of B. tabaci adult population, the most suitable sampling intensity is established.

By means of black light lamp and diamondback moth sex pheromone luring and investigation, the population dynamics of phototactic insects in the farming and pastoral interlock belt of northwest Hebei Province have been studied for 82 days on end (from June 10th to August 30th in 2006). The results indicate that there are 269 kinds of insect species belonging to 9 orders, 42 families in this region. Four types of the population dynamics of phototactic insect species could be identified as sporadic appearance,successive appearance with small amount, successive appearance with great number and explode in a short-term. The dominant species of pests include Loxostege sticticalis Linnaeus, Plutella maculipennis Curtis, Ipimorpha subtusa Schiffermüller, Agrotis ypsilon Rottemberg, Scotogramma trifolii（Rottemberg）, Clostera curtuloides Erschoff. By analyzing the proportions of different groups and Seasonal dynamic of dominance species, some scientific material for the system of predicting pests and preventing pests has been basically provided.

  On Dynamics of Three Enzyme Activities in Cotton Plants of Different Varieties Inoculated with Fusarium moniliforme Ying Jinfeng, Pan Yuemin, Gao Zhimou, Guo Min, Wang Jingxin, Liu Mingyang 2007, 23 (7):  467-467.  Abstract + ( 1556 )   PDF ( 156853KB )   ( 634 ) The activities of polyphenol oxidase (PPO), peroxidase (POD) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the different tested cotton plants inoculated with Fusarium moniliforme, the causal organism of cotton red rot, were tested and analyzed respectively by applying artificial inoculation in greenhouse to explore the relationship between the enzyme activities and the resistance of cotton plants to the disease and to provide the evidences for the breeding of the disease-resistant cotton varieties. The results indicated that after being inoculated with Fusarium moniliforme, the activities of the three enzymes in the tested cotton plants all rose obviously, and that the enzyme activities in the disease-resistant Zhongmian-29 were higher than those in the disease-sensitive Simian-3. Meanwhile, the enzyme activities in Zhongmian-29 rose more rapidly than in the disease-sensitive Simian-3. It was suggested that the activities of PPO, POD and SOD in cotton plants were closely related to the resistance of cotton plants to the disease. The three enzymes played an important role in the resistance of cotton plants to the disease. The results would be valuable to the identification of disease-resistance of cotton varieties and to the breeding of the disease-resistant cotton varieties.

In order to reduce the damage of chemical pesticides to human being and enhance the safety of the product, the pilot studies have been done with natural enemy and physical preventative method. Four aspects have been involved in this test. They are the optimal applied time and the optimal density of Encarsia Formosa, the optimal hanging height and preventative result of the yellow board. The test result shows that greenhouse white fly can be controlled by continuously applying Encarsia formosa Gahan twice when the density of white fly in greenhouse is two plants have one pest. The optimal density is 150000 Encarsia formosa Gahan per hectare every time and the availability is about 95.6%. The yellow boards play an important role in prevention and cure white fly in greenhouse because they can trap, stick and kill white fly. The test also shows that almost white fly often appear in the space where 5cm-15cm upper than the top of the plant. According to this result, the optimal hanging height of the yellow board should be at the place where 5cm-15cm upper than the top of the plant. The yellow boards should be set up as much as possible in this space to reach the best preventative effect.

In this paper, the newest research of powdery mildew resistant genes was reviewed and applications of molecular assisted selection on breeding for disease resistance were discussed. The result shows that, Jinagxi has got a great achievement in the recent ten years. The results evaluated comprehensively by the method of stratification analysis showed that the scores of health status of the lakeside zone of Wuli lake was 73.05, which meant the ecosystem was healthy. The pressure mainly came from human activity. The vigor and entertainment function of ecosystem were quite good, but the quality of water, air and soil should be improved. The protection of biodiversity should be enhanced too.

Among them, 3 species belonging to 3 genera or 3 families of gymnosperm and 232 species belonging to 157 genera or 53 families are included. In addition, there are 2 Chinese endemic genera including 2 Chinese endemic species. It is complex in floristic components, with 8 areal types and 2 subtypes of families of seed plants, and 14 areal types and 11 subtypes of genera of seed plants. The flora is not only dominant in North temperate components,but also related with tropic, sub tropic flora. Meanwhile, it is comparatively rich in species with obvious characteristic of crisscrossing.

Combining with the health quality standards of the soil of tea garden and tea, we evaluated the pollution situation using the single factor pollution index and Nemerow pollution index. The results showed that the amounts of Pb, Cr, Cu, Hg and As were low, but the amount of Cd was a little high. The single factor pollution indexes and Nemerow pollution indexes were all below 1.0. It indicted that the soil in tea garden and teas are basically not polluted by the six heavy metals, the qualities of tea and soil environment of the tea garden are quite good on the whole. The capability of enrichment of Cd, Cu and Hg in tea was strong.

The ranges of the effective accumulation temperature for the turning points of boom stage were: 1248.5~2071.6℃ and 897.4~1628.9℃and 1234.0~1909.3℃ respectively. The highest instantaneous growth rate was 0.176 g/（d ℃·plant） and 0.057 g/（d ℃·plant）and 0.1024 g/（d ℃·plant） respectively; and they appeared when the available accumulation temperature reached 1660.1℃，1263.2℃，1571.7℃ respectively, after transplantation.

The results indicated that the soil organic matter in paddy soil of Hainan Province was decreased during the past 20 years. According to the criterions which was established in The Second Soil Survey of China. The number of regions whose soil organic matter was in the abundance level was decreased from 31.9% to 22.4%. The number of regions whose soil organic matter was in the middle level had changed little, maintaining around 31%. The number of regions whose soil organic matter was in the lack level was increased from 37.3% to 46.6%.The results showed that it was very essential to the preservation of soil fertility with increasing organic fertilizer and straw returned to field.

Results show that average contents of Zn in Eucalyptus.ABL12, E.urophylla and E.exserta plantations are 28.42 mg/kg,13.64 mg/kg and 18.03 mg/kg respectively, and accumulations of Zn in the three forests are 2.7365 kg/hm2,1.4110 kg/hm2 and 0.6139 kg/hm2 respectively. Annual retention of Zn is in sequence of E.ABL12＞E.urophylla＞E.exserta, and annual restitution is in sequence of E.ABL12＞E.exserta＞E.urophylla. The cycling coefficient of Zn in E. ABL12, E. urophylla and E. exserta was 0.66, 0.69 and 0.84 respectively. There are some differences between Eucalyptus urophylla forest with understory vegetation and the one without understory vegetation,for examples, contents, accumulation, annual retention, annual restitution, annual absorption and recycling coefficient of Zn are 54.37 mg/kg, 1.6806 kg/ hm2?a, 0.3360 kg/hm2?a, 0.6777 kg/hm2?a,1.2483 kg/hm2?a and 0.86 in the former respectively, while 54.73 mg/kg, 1.1732kg/ hm2?a, 0.2346 kg/hm2?a, 0.6072 kg/hm2?a, 0.8418 kg/hm2?a and 0.90 in the latter respectively. Conclusions can be made that litters makes a difference in development of understory vegetation and maintaining the dynamic balance of Zn in Eucalyptus forest.

A total of 197 DNA bands were amplified. On the average, one primer amplified 10.944 bands, the number of the band amplified by each primer ranged from 7 to 15. The polymorphic degree was up to 100%. The results showed polymorphism of longan germplasm was high. The genetic comparibility was Calculated by Euclidean distance method(ED), the cultivars of longan was analysed by UPGMA, dendrogram genetic comparibility was established. When D＝0.75, the 95 genetic resources of longan can be divided into two types (a type of longan from Chinese and a type of longan from Thailan), when D＝0.6, the 89 genetic resources of longan from Chinese can be divided into three types (a type of Honghezi, a type of Chuliang and Dongbi, a type of Fuyan and Wulongling), when the D＝0.4, the 89 genetic resources of longan from Chinese can be divided into eleven types. The results have the theorical meaning for the future research on longan’s inheritance and assortment.

The results showed that the growth curve of fruit vertical diameter and transverse diameter were all a double sigmoid curve . Although the contents of sugar, acid and Vitamin C in the two cultivars of wampee follow a contain variation pattern, with the fruit ripening changed regularly, they all have a significant correlation with the growing period during fruit development. The total soluble sugar gradually increased as fruit ripened, and leaped in the 12th week after full bloom in ‘Jixin’ wampee while in 14th week in‘Yunan seedless’wampee. The titratable acid gradually decreased during the fruit development, and decreased sharply in the late stage of fruit full maturity. i.e. in the 12th week after full bloom in ‘Jixin’ wampee while in 13th week in ‘Yunan seedless’wampee. The content of Vitamine C went up and down in the early stage of fruit maturity, but increased sharply in the late stage of fruit full maturity. Finally, the content of Vitamine C in the ripen fruits is higher than the green ones.

  Assessment of Soil Erosion Based on SOTER in Hebei Province Men Mingxin, Chen Jian, Yu Zhenrong, Xu Hao 2007, 23 (7):  587-587.  Abstract + ( 1421 )   PDF ( 269628KB )   ( 704 ) 【OBJECTIVE】This study was conducted in portion of Hebei province, the main region in China for the production of food, most of which is located in the mountain area.【METHOD】The Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) was used to predict annual soil loss using, based on Hebei SOTER database, to determine the erosion hazard and target locations for appropriate initiation of conservation measures. All factors used in RUSLE model were calculated using local data. 【RESULTS】The results of the RUSLE model show that 41.8% of the whole area had a current erosion amount of more than 200t·km2/a, 22.9% more than 2500t·km2/a, and 6.8% more than 15 000t·km2/a. 【CONCLUSION】The erosion mainly distributed over Taihang and Yanshan mountainous area, especially the sandstone highlands without vegetation cover.

The mutagenic effects of SP2 generation in agronomic traits were analyzed. The results showed that the variation of agronomic traits among cultivar was significant, while most variations in the lines were not significant. There were different mutagenic rate and the effects between cultivars. The mutagenic rate of the Yunong 201 was higher than the Dali 1. The variation of agronomic traits in the Yunong 201 were decreased while in the Dali 1 were increased. The mutagenic rate of plant height and grain weight was higher than the others.
