Abstract: Using canonical correlation analysis method to analyze the relation of nine stature traits and three semen quality traits of the line H males of recessive white rock, it indicate that the first canonical correlation coefficient between two traits is 0.8481(p<0.05), which takes up about 50.5%in total correlation information. The correlation relation between stature traits and semen quality mainly engendered by the heart girth(X8) and sperm concentration(X11), and it is a negative correlation .It’s advised that we'd better strengthen to choose the stature traits in the future selection of the line H males of recessive white rock, especially pay more attention to select the heart girth and control it in the proper level, in order to improve body conformation and ensure the good semen quality.
