Effects of Different Bagging Time on the Color and Luster in Zaoxiang Mandarin Fruit

Abstract: The effects of three different bagging times on the color and luster in zaoxiang mandarin fruit were studied and analyzed. The results indicated that the effects of the brightness、saturation on the earlier bagging time、strong light penetration bag were better than the weak light penetration or later bagging time treatment. The average ratio of a/ b on the 4,Oct was better than on the 14,Jul and the 30, Aug, but three ratios of a/b were lower than the control treatment(0.53),so the color in the zaoxiang mandarin fruit was close to native color : orange-yellow color. The tone-angle on the earlier bagging time was lower than the later bagging time, but three tone-angles were bigger than the control treatment (-10.23). The significant negative coefficient of the ratio of a/b to the tone-angle is -0.9586** by correlation analysis; The different effects on the color and luster in zaoxiang mandarin fruit would change as a result of different bagging times and kinds paper bags.
