Abstract:

This paper aims to study the effects of thiabendazole 0.2% SL on the yield and fruit quality of kumquat. A series of concentrations of thiabendazole 0.2% SL (2, 3, 4, 6 mg/kg) were sprayed at the young fruit and fruit expansion stage of kumquat to assess the relevant indicators such as yield and quality. Compared with the control, the results showed that the yield of fruit increased by 16.5%-23%, the fruit quality increased by 10.2%-12.2%, the soluble content of kumquat pulp increased by 5.9%-6.3%, the content of vitamin C increased by 8.7%-9.3%, the sugar content increased by 7.9%-9.0%, while the titratable acid content decreased by 8.1%-13.5%. Thiabendazole 0.2% SL could significantly improve the yield and quality of kumquat. At 4 mg/kg dosage, the indicators of kumquat could reach a high level, and show no significant difference from the maximum value. So the recommended concentration of thiabendazole 0.2% SL for production is 3-4 mg/kg.
