Abstract: The article concluded the seven features by having discussed the outline of the landforms of Guizhou, and defined soil types with altitude ranges. Finally it approached the geomorphologic background suitable for planting leaf tobacco in Guizhou province with the relationships between altitude, topography gradient and tobacco production, which provided scientific basis for development of flue-cured tobacco.
