Abstract: This article summarizes the existing condition of the ecological restoration and analyzes the reason that the slow evolution of ecological restoration about discarded land in mining area. By analyzing the ecological restoration of discarded land in mining area, Juye of Shandong province ,it brings forward that we should regard the sustainable development as the guidance of ecological restoration of discarded land in mining area and regard the ecological environment improvement and rebuilding landscape as basics. We should bring to bear the principle of landscape ecological design and restoration ecology, and bring to bear diversified technical instrument. By combing material complexion of discarded land in mining area, we should develop some of industry such as tourism industry in base of ecological restoration and respect praxis and economy behalf of local people and government.
