Abstract: A study on the effect of different clipping frequencies on the yield and quality of Paspalum atratum cv. Reyan No.11 indicated that: At the intervals of 90 days, it’s crude Protein yield was the highest(3879 kg/hm2); at the intervals of 75 days, it’s fresh forage yield of was the highest reaching 135.8t/hm2; at the intervals of 120 days, it ascended the hay yield to 38.6t/hm2, topping all. At the interval of 120 days, it was also higher than other treatments in growth trend of plant height and quantity of tiller. At the intervals of 90 days it was the best in quality, especially CP is highest (13.13%), CF is lowest (25.79%)
