Abstract: The quantity of application of nitrogen and potassium was researched to show its effect on the growth and yield of “Hunzhi No.1”by using the randomized and grouped design of wide field .The result turns out that: the quantity of application of nitrogen and potassium have important effect on the appearance of the tiller, the height of the plant, the length and the weight of the first section, the factors of production and yield of “Hunzhi No.1”. Among them, the highest production is dealt with A2B3 (which is mixed by 375kg/hm2 urea and 375kg/hm2 potassium chloride). The production reaches at 9154.6kg/hm2, compared with A1B1(which is mixed by 375kg/hm2 urea and 375kg/hm2 potassium chloride), the production of the former one has increased at 900.5kg/hm2 and the increasing extent is 10.91%.
