Abstract: Abstract: In this paper, it introduces Polygonum hydropiper L.——an pesticide plant of Polygonaceae, its distribution, characteristic of biology, its toxicity, medical effect, Chemical ingredients and bioactivity against pest insects. Moreover, the prospects of botanical pesticides with Polygonum hydropiper L. and some problems in researches were discussed as well.
