Abstract: Germinate characteristic property of wild Polygonatum odoratum in Laoshan Mountain area were studied in this paper. The optimum germination temperature was alternating temperatures at 20℃/25℃℃ and constant temperature at 20℃ or 25℃；Dark treatment had obviously effect on germination；the best seed soaking conditions of Polygonatum odoratum was 18-24 hours in 35-40℃ warm waters.
