Abstract: Short message service (SMS) based on global system for mobile communication (GSM) has already got more and more applications in spray and drip automatic system. By GSM and SMS, water data on cotton field is collected timely. The data is sent to monitor center and delt by decision support system. And decided results are sent to many mobile telephones by SMS. So GSM technique fulfills real-time manage about water information.
